Sony is a good tv and paired with the PS4 it makes a good combination. Samsung is the best but it sounds like you are getting a great deal on the Sony and you won't be disappointed.

Sony is no joke.
Their quality has not went down and while I am a big fan of Samsung, Sony is probably my #2.
LG is good and I am a fan of Vizio.
Vizio reminds me of Samsung 17 years ago or so. Good product for a cheap price.
When I sold TVs at Best Buy that long ago, Samsung was so cheap, price wise. I thought they were a fantastic product for the price.
Now they are the one to buy. I see Vizio on that same path. I don't know if they will ever be the one to buy, but definitely on the rise.

Watched a fight on the street just now. Tried to world star it but my phone sucks. Both 100 pounds soaking wet skinny jeans but the white guy ate like 10 uppercuts. Quality beating

I haven't seen the videos... does any of them that are out there prove that he was actually going for the gun? I think it really comes down to that. If yes, they'll get off. If the gun was securely tucked away and not a threat, then both officers should get hammered. The non-shooter for inciting the situation and the shooter for the act without visually confirming. Just my quick thoughts.

I started up my trial of PS Vue last night. Not bad so far. The guide will get some getting used to. Instead of having the channels on the side and the times at the top they are switched. It's funny how the brain works where you see something one way for so long and all of a sudden when it gets switched it's hard to adapt.

Some good things:
Everything is on demand for the channels. Unlike Comcast where you can usually only go back a season or 2 the PS Vue allows you to go all the way back to season 1 of a series.

The delay from live cable time to live Vue time was literally 2-3 seconds.

Picture quality was good on all channels.

Some bad things:
I recorded the Boston game last night. It wouldn't allow me to fast forward at all. I'm going to try again and see if it just needs to be the next day where you can fast forward these games.

Had a couple of buffering moments, but that is due to the wife switching from cable internet to DSL. This will be handled when we move to Omaha and get 300mbps interwebz.

No Spike TV. But then again I cannot remember when I watched Spike last. Probably when The Ultimate Fighter was on it.

I got the free trial but forgot and messed with it only once.

On the Roku app, the little I did try it, I couldn't figure out how to record or watch recorded shows.

On the PS4 I couldn't figure it out either. I think I just stumbled into it. I marked it as a favorite and then later went down to "my shows" and it was there
