Tips
1. Seeing what in-game date we should be on and if the Commissioner has performed a sim.

Access the Export tracker at https://statsplus.net/ndl/exports
If you look at the top of the export tracker on stats plus, it always shows the new file's date and time and the new in game date:
For example, it shows:
League File: Dec. 9, 2018, 3:28 a.m. CST - Game date: 2059-12-03



Issues
If you have a bunch of emails in-game that continue to show up, even though you delete them each time, here is a way to delete all of your in-game messages and start fresh.


***WARNING*** This will delete ALL of your in-game messages.

Make sure OOTP is closed when you do this.

1. Close OOTP - DO NOT do this with it open or you could corrupt your database files.
2. Find your *saved_games* folder. (NDL.lg for us)
3. Delete *messages.dat*.
4. In the *saved_games* (NDL.lg) folder, go to the *auto-save* folder. Delete *messages.dat*.
5. In the *saved_games* (NDL.lg) folder, go to the *messages* folder. Delete all the files inside it. DO NOT delete the folder itself.
6. Start OOTP, it may take longer to load as it rebuilds the empty messages.dat file.




If you are trying to download the new file once the commissioner states that the sim has completed and you get a message that no new file exists on the server:

1. Close your OOTP game.
2. Navigate to your saved_game folder (NDL.lg)
3. Go into that folder.
4. Now find the Settings folder.
5. Delete the "online_league_file_time.cfg" file.
6. Now re-open OOTP.
7. Now try to download the file from the server again.



If your minor league rosters show 0 players on them, but your players were not released:

Use the "Ask AI to set up entire organisation" function in the team transactions screen and it will put everyone back.
We only saw this issue 1 time so far.

Working with OOTP on a MAC.

If you have one heck of a time finding your installation directory of OOTP on a MAC, it is in a hidden library folder.
On a MAC, you have to hold the option key while clicking on GO at the top of your screen
Now, Library will show up as an option in there.
Now navigate to Application Support
You will now see the Out of the Park Development folder in there.
This is the folder where you will then find OOTP18 for example, then saved_games, then NDL.lg
And in this NDL.lg folder is where you make changes such as replacing your accountsdata_gms.dat file like we did to get setup for statsplus.




If you want to close OOTP without it saving your game

Open Task Manager on your PC.
Go to the Details tab.
Find OOTP.exe
Right Click on it.
Choose End Process Tree
It will shut down OOTP and not save it.
