The UnTouchable Report (S27 - W10)

The UnTouchable Report
Season 27 - Week 10
A rundown of the week's hottest games.

Image #12 Florida Gators 3-0 (2-0 SEC) Daw1git
As usual the SEC is stacked with talent again and this game is just another in a long line of mega-SEC matchups with postseason implications. These two unbeatens could easily play for the national title and if it weren't for a late start for Coach Daw1git, the Gators would still be a top 5 team. Georgia has already knocked off South Carolina; Florida has them later in the season. A win for the Bulldogs puts them in prime position to win the East.
WHAT TO WATCH A huge part of Champ's success over the years is his uncanny ability to NOT turn the ball over. Through 5 games, his Bulldogs have turned the ball over just once (a lone pick by Aaron Murray). Murray is still completing 82% of his passes and thrown for nearly 1000 yards on the season. And this is on a team that runs the ball twice as much as they pass it. HB Todd Gurley is averaging over 100 yards per game and is super efficient in finding the endzone once the Dawgs are in the red zone. The Florida defense may have some trouble stopping this balanced attack. The secondary is solid with safety Valdez Showers but the front 7 will really need to work on covering Gurley. As far as Florida goes, nothing much has changed on offense from last season: Driskel, Driskel, Driskel. QB Jeff Driskel has actually rushed for more yards and touchdowns (252, 3) than he has passed (238, 2). This read option attack with such a dual-threat quarterback is tough for even the best defenses to stop. It'll be interesting to see how the Bulldogs adjust to the offense.
THE UNTOUCHABLE PREDICTION The Swamp is a tough place to visit and walk away with a win from. I think the Bulldogs will be one of the few that does this. It'll be an offensive shootout with few turnovers, but the Bulldogs pull this one out in the closing minutes.

The battle for last place in the American Athletic Conference runs through Memphis along with all the glory of claiming mediocrity in an even more mediocre conference (sorry Houston and SMU). Our esteemed leader goes on the road to take on the guy with the most unique board name ever. Carnage will ensue, blood will be shed, and this game will go down as one for the ages.
WHAT TO WATCH It's a wonder how either of these teams have even found the endzone this season. Well, to be exact, Cincinnati has only found it once. Memphis has fared better but can't play defense to save their lives. There are currently 11 teams that average more offense per game than these two teams combined. The Bearcats have allowed an astounding 24 sacks through 3 games and are in the red in rushing yards. The Tigers have a better offensive line, but not that it matters. QB Jacob Karam has thrown more than twice as many picks as he has touchdowns. Not to mention they're giving up 32 points a game on defense. Buffalo must really be bad if they lost to this team.
THE UNTOUCHABLE PREDICTION Who cares?

OTHER TOP 25 MATCHUPS
Image #18 Miami Hurricane 2-0 (1-0 ACC) sammy33
Image #11 Florida State Seminoles 5-1 (3-0 ACC) dcane7
-- This huge conference matchup could have postseason implications in both divisions of a talent-riddled ACC. Which team will prevail?

***UPSET ALERT***
Image #9 Wisconsin Badgers 4-0 (2-0 B1G) plasma1896
Image Iowa Hawkeyes 2-4 (0-2 B1G) Whittness10
-- Yeah Iowa got blown out by Missouri and Michigan State. But they also only lost to #22 Arkansas by 3 points and #5 Ohio State by 1 at the Shoe. Can they finally ink one out at home against the Badgers, who have really yet to be tested this season?
