SMU pulls out a tough game over Missouri, 23-21 with a FG as time expires in the Texas Bowl. SMU had to deal with Missouri jumping the snap all game (did manage to get two offside penalties on them) and three interceptions by defensive linemen after passes were tipped at the line (one taken back for a Mizzou TD). In the end, the SMU power running attack was enough to keep the team on the field and in possession of the ball for the last 4:45.

I'm out until the 31st so don't wait on me for any advancing.

LOL, well if this game is anything like our game, I won't have chance from the get go. I am just curious how the CPU decided to send me to the NC game when there were 3 of us tied.

Great Fiesta Bowl yesterday between Colorado and WVU. The game was a battle the whole way and came down the final minutes. Colorado had the ball with around 1:30 left in the game and the game tied at 28-28, moving the ball effectively. However, WVU came up with a big pick and a key defensive play call to get the ball back. WVU was able to move the ball with a balanced approach and get within field goal range to seal the victory at 31-28.

This game was exciting, with big plays by both teams. Devine was huge for the Mountaineers, coming up with big plays when they were needed. Jock Sanders had a nice run after the catch on a WR screen early in the game, and Stedman Bailey came up with a couple big catches for the old gold and blue. QB Geno Smith had his best game of the year, avoiding the turnover bug. The defense came up big when WVU most needed it. An early pick by QB Dawson helped to squash Buffalo momentum. A big hit forced fumble was recovered by the Mountaineer punt return team and resulted in a touchdown. Finally, a big pick at the end of the game by the WVU MLB helped to give the Mountaineers the W.

Colorado had some big plays of their own, returning a kickoff for a touchdown, and nearly doing it 2-3 more times. WVU played their signature kickoff coverage, which was none at all. The Buffaloes also got a nice effort from their TE and HB. The WVU defense had trouble tackling at times and gave up some big plays.

Great game Steel. I'm looking forward to the offseason to fix a couple holes. Hopefully recruiting won't mess up like it did in my dynasty.

GG to you as well Terps, the Buff's are young and a little slow in some spots and the coaching staff needs to be smarter in certain situations. Looking forward to playing you in the future.

Looks like we have a battle in Fantasy Football as well... the Super Bowl of the foxsports league we got in with cnotes. I guess that is if you are even paying attention to it anymore, as it seems some haven't.

Your the T-town boyz? Looking over your lineup I have to give you an early edge. The reason Kevin Boss, this past week along with the giants K(Tynes) they led my opponent to victory over me by the smallest of margins. Are you ready I lost by .10 points.

Cincy couldn't force the game into OT as they go down 30-22. UC couldn't get Maryland to turn the ball over at all, but UMD got UC to. a key INT returned 100 yards and a fumble recovery helped put Maryland up 30-14. Cincy drove down and scored and got the 2 point conversion and gave the ball to UMD with 3:00 left. UC stopped them but only had about 1:14 left to go about 80 yards. They were within 25 yards or so but couldn't get it into the endzone. It was a good fun game. Now lets move on.
