I could, since I m still without a job. And it would be easier this season as I could start it under my own log in instead of another.. As it was somewhat inconvenient to sign in and out of log ins at times. If the masses don't object to me running it, yep I ll run it.

alrighty then .. I ll re post the general guidelines of the dynasty. Sometime tonight, if there is any disagreements or suggestions feel free to voice them. We will try to start up the dynasty as soon as rosters are released.

Starting Teams ----

All Coaches will start out with a 2 Star Prestige School.

Advancement Time line ----

***Advances will be every 24hours at 12am midnight - Pacific Time.

**For times that I will not be able to advance or in august when I go on vacation I will pass my log on information to a backup commissioner to advance the week.

***Off- Season advances will be every 12 hours. (Depending on how useful the web recruiting is, this could subject to change to do as a bulk session if it does not require all to sign on the PS3).

Team Advancement ----

***You can "change" schools every 3 seasons only.. If you choose to remain with your chosen school you are resigned for 2 more seasons.

***If you change schools, you can NOT go to a school with a record in the previous season of 7-6 or better. (the idea here is realistically u don't go become the head coach of a 10-2 BCS team...usually)

***Selection order will be based on our regular points method..applying the points from that 3 year block.

• 2 points for each win
  10 points for bowl apperence
  20 points for bowl win
  30 points for winning a non BCS con
  40 points for winning a BSC conf
  100 points for a NC as BSC
  120 points for a NC as non BSC

***You wil be fired for a cumulative record of less than .400 after your 1st 3 seasons from any non bcs team (and you have to go to a school with a lower star rating than what u started at with the school u were fired from). after the 1st 3 seasons, you must maintain a wining percentage greater than .500

***you will be fired for a cumulative record of less than .500 after your 1st 3 seasons with a BCS team, for all subsequent 3 season blocks after, you must maintain a winning percentage of greater than .650 to remain employed.

*** The aim here is to try to have at least 8 coaches at all times.
*** In terms of selection order of teams for the first season, I m thinking first choice of teams in order interest was shown to do another 24hour dynasty which would be the order above. Any ideas on how best to do this?


General Rules

*** Restarts- if you restarted a game with CPU, please post why the restart was needed. With that said restarts should not become habitual. Restarts with Human opponents . Should be worked out between the owners. We are all adults here this shouldn't be a problem.

*** Games between two users that can not come together to play a user game, in some cases a 1 day extension could be given, if one coach is on vacation or there is no possible way they can be available at all in the given time period of the normal 24 hour time line, they will be put on autopilot so the other coach can be play against the CPU. If coaches are both available but just cant find a mutual time, then the game will be simmed.
--- Please schedule user games on forums, it helps to somewhat schedule ahead a day or 2 before advance to your week.

*** Regular NDL rules will apply to user games , 56 point rule is in effect against CPU. I doubt this will be a problem.

*** Quarter length N/A --- Difficulty - N/A.

Ok, here is a question for the masses of the league. Which rosters should we go with... the edited version or just name version. If just name version those are out and we can fire up the dynasty tonight and get this thing rolling for The only dynasty which has lasted 3 generations of the game.

Also any suggestion or questions about the above rule stuff

OK guys, I m thinking it would be best to use the unedited rosters over the edited rosters. Only because I m not a big fan of someone editing the attributes of the players in the game just off their opinion.

Which means we will be getting underway here shortly.

Now I would like the opinion of everyone here of what quarter and difficulty level would we like to start the dynasty out on.

With it being a 24 hour advance I was thinking 5 mins, maybe 6 most. What do you all think.

Again we will be starting out with 2 star prestige schools from non BCS conferences, which I will post a little later today.

Once we decide on a qtr length and difficulty lvl.. I will start the dynasty so, please reply with your thoughts.

I like the 6 min. quarters. I'm still on the fence on the whole AA vs. Heisman topic, so I'm down with whatever the masses choose.

If forced to make a "firm" vote, I would vote Heisman.
