Nick will be pleased to know that I named my player after my dog the last time around. I think this time I might name him after my daughter's dead hamster.

Again, I don't see the harm in it.
What does it matter if we name a player or OOTP names a player?
I agree I like the idea of no famous people, etc.

Naming a player has zero impact on their future. Creating a cyborg has been done and it is a shitty thing when it potentially impacts the records and history of our league.

I thought we voted on this last year and it was decided that we were going to wait until they all retired.

I think Ted brought it up but I'm pretty sure his vote was to eliminate the high cost of changing names
