You are always on the hook for the contract on a rule 5 pickup as your selection of him is what gave him a salary

Good thing I had a duplicate folder. Deleted the folder and used the duplicate folder and everything worked fine.

That is the best way to go George. Have a backup folder for issues.
Luckily, for me, I have not had any issues and used to have them with 17 and exports not taking. 18 has been good so far.
