Kshorey I want to feel bad for you man but you made this deal behind the rules. Why should you get a bail out? You passed up a lot of better deals for that catcher for the first round picks. When I saw that deal I know I offered you a way better deal. So it was easy to tell it was a back room deal. I am fine with it. Live by the sword die by the sword. These deal’s have been done for years in this league and they won’t stop. Maybe now they will.
What's your point? It was lost somewhere in there between you are fine with the deal and they've been happening for years. I'm not asking for your sympathy and to say you offered something better isn't true at all, you didn't offer anything as you told me to look at your squad. As for me seeking a bail out....please explain. I simply asked for the original deal to be upheld or I even offered to mitigate the issue to what could work for us both. Not exactly asking for a handout...
Everyone can go back and forth with how they feel about the deal but at this point, it's a lost cause. And there is an extreme lack of integrity going on. We just had 15 pages of a dead topic that 100% ran another owner off. One that actively traded, stayed competitive, posted on the boards and in slack.. Personal feelings aside about who did what, it was ridiculous and that can't even be denied.
I'm done with the trade topic, it was in my opinion a chicken shit way of handling it by him...it could have went WAY differently but Rob was an ass so I went the route I did.

Don't get on here trying to ride some higher morale authority, you are 1/2 the party that tried to circumvent the rules. The more you keep trying to drag someone thru the mud because he won't honor a deal he didn't make I'd love to see a poll on whether we leave the trade as is or null and void it completely....And I would campaign hard as hell that the deal stands because you made it knowing the rules....or at least should know the rules because we should all read them.

I asked billy this as well, just throwing this out here in case he is flying and can't get an answer to me:
Not sure on the rule. I know if we sign a FA we can't trade them to x date. Does that only apply to FA's that are on the 40 man roster? I have a guy I signed in December that is in the minors that someone wants, would that be legal? Or should we just do it as a PTBNL?
