I hate those ones. I always end up accidentally shooting the lawmen instead of the criminal because I automatically assume they're trying to rob him or something.

I've tried lassoing skunks and armadillos. I haven't gotten it to work yet though. I just want to know if the townspeople will react if I drag a skunk through town.

How do you drag them behind your horse? I've not tried that...

yeah that has happened to me about getting someone to take your horse...if you wait a sec. or so and call another another will come running to you...Also about the lasso thing is it something you have to "turn on" meaning, take your gun away? either that or I just haven't completed the mission yet....damn I suck I have to get more missions completed, it seems like to me I never know what to do....

Need some help finding a treasure in case anyone has had any luck..
Spoiler!
I got a map for a treasure near the hanging rock but I have checked behind every rock and I cannot find it. Do I need some tools to dig it up like a shovel? What the hell is the 1 and the 11 on the map?
In case no one has gotten there.

Keep searching in all the little niches around Hanging Rock. You'll see a pile of rocks that are a different color from the ones around them. I feel like I'm channeling Andy Dufresne typing that.

Has anyone found the second treasure yet? I know where to start out but I when I start going down the cliffside I have no clue where to look.

Lmao... 1 and 11 ?

Roman Numerals are gone, aren't they? Oh wait doesn't the Super Bowl still use them?

I. is the first marker which is the hanging rock.

II. is the second marker which if I remember the orientation right is north east behind the big rock.
Spoiler!
Basically the treasure is behind the rock on the opposite side of the tree.
I actually haven't tried to find the 2nd treasure yet. I think I will try in the next few days.

For the lasso: You can hit L1 to view all your weaps. Then just rotate it to the lasso. You use it just like a gun.

As for treasure, let me introduce you to youtube. Get stuck and they are all on YT.

Thanks for the help. I spend an hour last night (1 AM to 2AM) looking for the damm thing all over the rocks next to the hanging rock. I thought the treasure map was an exact view from where the treasure was buried.

I've found 6 of them. I haven't started looking for the 7th yet though. For the second one just go down the cliff and look at your treasure map. You'll find it easy enough. It isnt hidden behind anything and you can see the pile of rocks easy enough once you get an idea of where to look. The 5th is the hardest to find because you have no reason to be in that area and there are no markers on the big map. The 6th one was the easiest for me because I was just riding around in between missions and decided to look at the treasure map. It turned out that I was only like 100 yards from where the treasure was located.

I'm just about done with everything. I finished the game and the ending is wild. I'm going for the $5000 bounty trophy now. I joined the Rockstar social club thingy and got the increased bounty cheat. So, I'm about to climb on the roof at Blackwater and snipe the entire town. Public Enemy #1!

Aren't Trophies disabled if you use the cheats?

Yea, turns out, cheats are disabled for trophies. I've got a $1000 bounty now and have probably killed 50 people. Got a ways to go.

Boars are all over Tall Trees. Look for the areas where it starts to turn into snow.

NICE work man....I am so far from even coming close to completing the game...hell I played for a good hour last night and still can't find that the lasso :) I know you guys said it was a mission that had to be completed but I must be missing it... .:(

The lasso is in one of the Bonnie missions. Anytime you see a B on your radar, go to it. She gives you the lasso in the mission where you capture wild horses.

Also, the game is time driven. When you complete a mission, there might not be another for a certain amount of time. This is to give you a chance to complete the other stuff like the stranger missions.

One way you can cheat that is to use game saves. Each save advances the game 7 or so hours. So, you can save multiple times in a row to advance time and open missions.
