Shel, I went a week or 2 back through his timeline and most of his stats are quantitative, similar to what the media/social media is spitting. His 7 day % positive and daily % positive are generally good metrics to look at and they both show a slight trend up. Seeing the CFR continue to decrease at a steady pace is good news. That aligns with what I posted early this morning regarding % increase in testing, cases and deaths. I think the hospitalizations that he's touting occasionally, are a bit misleading. Those are total hospitalizations, which we're incredibly unlikely to ever be concerned with. The information I had included Serious & Critical, which, while it's not ICU count, is at least more representative of where we'd run into issues. The Serious & Critical data that I've pulled doesn't suggest that it's a major issue right now. Let's give it another week though, since the last big spike that everyone is trying to blame for increases is from the weekend of 7/3-7/5.

when i check my temp at school and compare to the kids (outta boredom), i routinely have the lowest temp. Was 35 yesterday (95*F)

im just cold blooded.

It's common that your base temp drops as you age. Congrats, you're getting old.

I believe a lot of it is media driven, but it's also money driven. My wife does medical coding and everything that comes across coded as COVID it gets approved. EVERYTHING!

Did you just take George's comment regarding how the medical industry handling approvals and payments, then play it off like he's blaming all of the world's economic issues on it? I'm pretty sure that's what it looks like you did.

If I would have known that 1-2 snarky comments got this reaction, I'd have skipped the long high and mighty posts that most definitely meant nothing to you.

I'd say I'm surprised by this reaction today, but I've watched the Dems since Trump won the election and I've been talking about the disease that is social media/internet for years.
