Amaretto is almond flavored. Not sure how that and Coke ends up tasting like Cherry Coke.

Now Sloe Gin and Coke could definitely be Cherry Coke-ish.

And Sloe Gin, Amaretto, and Coke could easily be Dr Pepperish.

And ordering any of these at a bar is awful.

Just tried a 3 Olives Pomegranate Vodka and Red Bull this weekend and it is tasty.
The Grape or Cherry 3 Olives is supposed to be good with it too.
Someone said it is like a Flinstone Chewable on Speed.

The Cherry one is called a Cherry Bomb, not sure what the other 2 are called if they have a name.

Normally, I like Captain Morgan and Coke or Jack Daniels and Coke.
7 & 7's are quite good too.

And the app I have is free, called Mixology: Drink Recipes (Free).
You sort by ingredient, then Liquor, then Vodka or whatever you choose and then there are 100's of drinks listed. in alphabetical order.

I have been known to kill a bottle of Jack myself in 1 night, so I don't need to pull out my man card.
Sometimes I am in the mood for just a drink or two and I like something different than the same stuff all the time.
And I will drink just about any type of beer, so no worries there.

Amaretto and coke is not to be consumed by men, dude. All bartenders talk and you will be "that guy". The only exceptions are like the stereotypical italians who drink that and Campari and club. Then, we just laugh at them for their outfits.

The day I care what bartenders think of me because of what I drink is the day Ill remove my testicles myself

EDIT: That said, I dont usually drink anything other than beer when at the bar since paying $10/drink is too much for a college budget

I'm a Crown and a splash of coke guy. If I go the Vodka route I like my dirty kettle one martini's or Absolute Peppar Vodka bloody marry.

When I was stationed in Hawaii I loved Mai Tai's. Have not found a place that can make them anywhere near as good as I could get them there. If you are looking for a rum drink try this one.

Blue Moon is my beer of chioce lately, although, I did try a Sam Adams Summer Shandy over the weekend and it was good too. Like Blue Moon, but with a Lemon flavor.

LOL. Man, I would have been running from you. I can't handle that stuff and I've tried so hard. Even high-end stuff like Oban or a good bourbon; no good. But put a stout or a nice dark lager near me and I'll drink reservoirs dry.

our beer selection is rather limited. the only sam adams you can get here is the lager. we do have blue moon from time to time, but at $12 a 6-pack, I get annoyed.

I already committed to checking a bag when I came home last time. So I bought a Blue Moon Summer Sampler, 4 bottle of Blue Moon, 4 bottles of the Blue Moon Pale Ale and 4 bottles of Honey Moon. Never had the Pale Ale or Honey Moon so I am excited to try em.

I liked it better. Their summer ale is pretty good though.

But now that I am used to many different kinds of beer, I cannot stand drinking with my parents and all they have is Bud Light or Miller Light.

I like to try new beers all the time.
I go 2 times a year to the Brew Kettle in Strongsville, Ohio and we brew beer and then bottle it a few weeks later.
That has got me trying so many different beers, I love it.

And Uuaww, I liked both the Pale Ale and the Honey Moon. I bought that same sampler before.
