If it comes down to eliminating teams, I guess we would have to do something similar to a supplemental draft where all players on those teams are put into the draft pool, and we go in same order as the rookie draft, and go from there

I think that's the right thing to do but there will be alot of good players. I still suggest each team keeps X amount of keepers and we redraft new teams. And maybe even pitch in ten to twenty bucks so guys are interested.

If we redraft with the guys who are still interested we can do it one night as oppossed to weeks....

Id be willing to take over for a season-interim commish and setup the draft, etc....

If we contract, we could always have an "expansion" team in the future, extra draft picks etc.

One thing we may want to do is contact each coach personally and see if they are in or out. I'm not sure that everyone has seen this thread. Then from there decide if we contract or move forward with replacement owners.

I have not checked the ESPN site, but with your admin rights over there, can you send a mass email giving a week or so deadline for final check-in?

I think maybe 5 keepers. Once we get it decided it won't take to long to finish the whole process. I also have enjoyed the rookie draft. So, maybe we make it a requirement to draft a rookie at some point. Just throwing out ideas....but let's get a decision made.

OK, what is going to be the best way to get ahold of everyone?

yo fellas i am willing to come back but we need to tweak some stuff. we have to much roster space (11 spots along with the IR spot) and with guys that are not active enough just sitting on guys. We also need to go with 2 starting qb's each week. Changing the scoring for kicking the further out the more points you get,as you come in lesser points and make negative scoring for fgs missed. same as above less negative points for farther away more negative points for closer fgs missed.

this is a league that I play in, with the scoring settings with negative points.

I will jump on Yahoo and ESPN tomorrow, and see which is the way to go, send out PMs tomorrow as well, and try to get us in a draft in the coming week.

Does anyone have anything against keeping around 6 players, and the rest go into the draft pool. After that, we can put any non-included teams players into the draft pool, and then have the draft from there. You could take either draft pool or rookie, anyone that is not on a roster.

I will start sending PMs and setting it up tomorrow, hopefully we can move fast so that we can get all of the weeks in.
