Yes.
Last realignment was in ‘58. Every 10 seasons was the rule.

I would too if I wanted to stay in an easier league.

My HOF ballot:
Bennie Espinosa- Was a legit ace with longevity who won tons of big games. One vote short last year, don't fuck it up this time fellas
Hsi-Chuen Jia- Never on really good teams so was over looked but man... 583 HRs and 2402 hits
Jeff Patterson- One of the best hitters in the game for a long time and was also one vote short last year. Do better for Snuffy
Miguel Rivera- Was one of the best players in the league for stretch. Ended his career with a slash of .306/.367/.500 and hit 421 HRs with over 2800 hits. Threw up 68 war as well, this is a no brainer
Ignacio Ruiz- One of the best 2B we have had and a premier LH bat for a decade. Slash ended at .328/.383/.516. 290 career HRs and hit over .300 in 11 of 13 seasons. Only time he did not was rookie year and last year

I see there was an update for OOTP a week ago. I will pull exports tomorrow and then update before putting out a new file. If you have already exported for the day and our good to go feel free to go ahead and download the update.

we should allow people to lock themselves in a division if theres a realignment and let everyone who wants to move move.
AL East for life. if all 5 spots are taken when i pick then we'll have 6 teams in the Beast

Not excited about this potential group as a whole. Nobody jumps out and says this is a no brainer to me. I chose 3 (all hitters) and submitted, but OOTP won't let me see the guys names to post here.

I like this with one caveat. Only 5 teams per division. So if all of the AL East wants to stay then nobody gets to pick that division.

you should definitely have an option to lock into your division.

My poll was just to see if people were willing to discuss realignment.
When I do the next phase I will 100% put that option in there as I kinda like it.

My predictions for AL Awards:
MVP - Jorge Marino will win, but if it wasn't computer voting I think Phil Conner would have a legitimate shot at winning it
Cy Young - Juan Lugo, may not be as decisive of a win here as some would think.
Rookie - Edward Stevens, probably deserves 100% of the 1st place votes

James West should at least be in the discussion.

Stevens (6.9 WAR) placed in the top 10 is batting stats 13 times. Strike outs not being one.
West (5.6 WAR) was in there 12 times.
Both by far the best rookies in the league
