No one IMO should stay at the Palms, its off the strip and a pain in the ass if your hammer time and trying to get back to your hotel.

I reccommend Harrah's, very central, although if i remember their pool area sucks balls if anyone had that in mind.

The Mirage if you can get a deal there is very nice, nice sports book, and awesome pool, I will tell you though if you hit the pool, the Mirage for some reason turns their water practically into fucking ice. Cheap drinks by the pool as well and a good central location.
