grass is cut, our good friends from Prosper on their way up to visit with nothing to lose this year (weird to say considering they still have like 160 mil payroll)

45 and sunny on the forecast at adultfriendfinder for tomorrow

A passing of the baton some might say..

Let’s see what we can scrape out with this bunch.

Some ticket punching into the HOF going to happen this season:

Two players will join the 3000 hit club this year.

Terrance Stead needs 159
Hector Sanchez needs 165

They will also be in rare company once they do reach that mark. Only Charleston and Cookeville have a player hit for 3000 hits while wearing their uniform.

Charleston - Alex Amaxya 3281
Cookeville - Alex Rodriguez 3059

Two players will join the 500 HR club

Ruben Herrera needs 3 HR's to reach 500
Jose Vidro needs 25 HR's to reach 500

One player will join the 900 SB club

Hei-Feng Chu needs 7 SB's to reach 900

Does this mean that these are the only players to reach it with one team? thought for sure Marino wouldve got 3000 with Boston

Also kinda surprised that we only have 25 guys that have reached 3000 hits

MLB only has 33 though- so I guess its not that surprising

Just goes to show how rare 3000 hits is

Correct, only 2 guys have had 3000 hits for a single team. Marino was around 2800 if I remember correctly.

I am trying to get the Beef to have the only 2 guys to have 3000 hits for one team, Stead and Fernandez (28 years old and has 2067 so far)

Some more recent AL history:

The Spitters had the 3rd most AB's and double in AL history last season.

The Beef had the 2nd most doubles in AL history in 2087

The Prosper Eagles have the 1st, 2nd and 3rd most triples in AL history all set from 2089-2091

The Hollywood Halos issued the fewest walks in AL history last season with 289 which broke the Halos record set in 2090 of 300 in 2089. Halos also set the record for fewest BB/9 in those years as well

Might be time to tone down the hitting settings just a touch lol. Jesus that's a lot of offensive shit.

Speed, gaps, and contact.
Built our little run on that with some good defense and timely pitching sprinkled in.

Not going to be around tomorrow to do this on the opening day sim so we're going to have to base it off of everyone's payroll ending spring training. IF the math is done correctly you can see who the Top 15 as well as the Bottom 15 are. The number in parenthesis next to the teams paying in should show you what your current pay in amount is. The Bottom 15 can see what their current estimated receiving amount is at the very bottom of the list.

Obviously this will change as people continue to trade and/or add FA's.
Spoiler!
TEAM - PAYROLL+STAFF (REVENUE SHARING PAYMENT)

Yeah, I'm not redoing it

You'll still be in the Top 15 and now so will San Fran. This will probably knock Detroit out of paying in, maybe Boston and could put Rhode Island in the receiving & paying category as well. Would be close I think.
