Another issue is Re-starts, this season I'm going to try something and hopefully I dont annoy any of you with this but this season everyone will get 1 re-start for the season because I know things happen, short on time, wife/GF needs you, kids, etc... Towards the end of last season I noticed there were a lot of re-starts of games towards the end of the sesaon. After your 1 re-start if you have to re-start a game a 2nd,3rd, time I have an option I can throw out all of your game stats for that game. I don't know if that will impact your win/loss so lets hope none of us find out this season. The only exception to this rule is in USER vs USER games.

Alright fellas lets start season 3

Maryland #4 re-starts 0
Texas #5 re-starts 0
Florida St #9 re-starts 0
Iowa #10 re-starts 0
Cincy #12 re-starts 0
West Virginia #13 re-starts 0
Colorado #24 re-starts 0
Arizona St #25 re-starts 0
SMU re-starts 0
Toledo re-starts 0
Oregon re-starts 0
Sounds good to me. However, I remember a game last year where I started the 1st half, and then paused probably for an hour. I came back and finished and the game was recorded, but it said it had been restarted, which it had not. If that should happen again, I'll be sure to tell you.

Yeah it does count as a re-start, but one thing I forgot to mention is to make sure and let me know what caused you to have the re-start the game. I debated on doing this but it seemed some guys toward the end of last season, the online dynasty showed that they had restarted there games a lot. I addressed it with them individually but this season I just wanted to paint the subject with a broad stroke. The first season we didn't have any problems with re-starts but last season it seemed suspect at times. I hope/dont think it will be an issue but I just wanted to mention it.

So DAK, if you have to restart a game more than once just let me know so that way I can note it on the boards.

Sorry KDOG it seems you and Terps have problems with dynasty file. From here on out I will delete the file and re-save it each advance to see if we can prevent the issues we had last season.

What a crapfest for the season opener. 6 penalties, 6 sacks allowed, 4 dropped passes (two bobbled and picked off).

EA turned up the "Screw You" meter in this one!

Colorado escapes with a 41-38 triple overtime victory. The game was 7-7 at the half, but everytime CU had something going either a fumble or INT would keep CSU in the game. Next year I am scheduling this rivalry as a second or third game of the season not as the first as I have the last 2 seasons. To much stress with the first game of the season.

couple of things I noticed with CU after one game
My defense is better it looks quicker but are true test will be in week 3 or 4 when we battle #7 Cal

and

I have a really quick/strong RB Stewart that can't hold on to the football.

I will post more updates as the season moves along

I'm just not saving the file from now on. It did the same thing when I tried last night. I just deleted and reloaded...now it's fine. I'm just not going to save because it seems this is an ongoing issue with me that can easily be avoided without saving.

If the 1st game is any indication, this is going to be a good year for the Mounties. The defense is strong and fast, giving up very little. I'm thin at DE, but the 2 starters are solid. I'm deep everywhere else, which is nice for a change. I took a risk and red-shirted my starting QB from last season, Gino Smith, in favor of starting the quicker Colie White (Pat's brother). He's small, but throws well and runs like the wind. Tavon Austin started the season strong, and Logan Heastie is a beast. Should be fun boys.

So I found a PS3 to borrow so I am going to get my game in tonight. My brother's roommate has one as does my brother and they don't use them both.

#6 Cal came into #21Colorado looking for payback and give Colorado a home loss this season. The first half was all colorado jumping out to a 19-7 halftime lead which also included a safety. But in the second half Cal made the necessary adjustments and started using there RB #34 which seemed unstoppable and pretty much controlled the entire second half. Cal had a 23-22 lead with 1:53 left in the game. Colorado's RB-Stewart took a pitch and broke 2 tackles and raced up the sideline for a go ahead touchdown. But like Lee Corso says" Hold everything my friend" after further review the officials ruled that he stepped out of bounds at the Cal 43 yard line with 1:32 left. Colorado knew that they couldn't score too fast and give Cal enough time to come back and score they we played ball control and got the ball to Cal's 15 yard line with :05 seconds left and from there kicked the winning field goal as time expired. Colorado 25-Cal 23
