Take Ivan Garcia (the guy my scout does not like). OSA has him with a 26/68 control while my scout shows him with 9/9 control. There is no reason they should be that far off

we can bitch about this all we want but it wont change... it is what it is. This is their way of doing a lottery for picks.

I remember when we were first starting up that after round 4 or so we were all literally drafting 20/20 guys... like every player was 20/20 by that point. I am glad we have this. At least theres something to do. You can either go by OSA or your scout and hope you luck out.

My only issue is that the top 10-20 consensus guys shouldn't be that far off from either OSA or our scouts. Control and Power are two ratings that shouldnt be far off from each of us. You can see if a guy can hit a strike zone (26/68) or if the guy can't even get the pitch inside the ball park (9/9) or if a guy has power 80+ ratings or not 20 or below. Our scouts shouldn't be that far off on those two ratings IMO.

no i understand. and they should fix it, but we all know they are too busy dealing with perfect team to do anything about scouting. it would take a major overhaul and it sounds like they don't want to do that.

To piggyback off of this:

My scout has 1 blue prospect. Said blue prospect is a red prospect by OSA. That is not comforting to me whatsoever.

My scout also says Garcia sucks, but not to the extreme amount of suck that your scout says.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the variances with our scouts. But the top guys should be pretty close to being top guys by all of our scouts and OSA. One of the only blue guys by OSA should not be a 20/20 bum by my scout, and vise versa. I agree 100%. Top guys, sure, some difference, but not 70 to 30. 10-15 point difference, that's totally understandable.

Nothing annoys me more than OSA having a guy at 83 power, my scout having him at 16, and then asking someone else and their scout says like 39.

How bad is Miami right now? So bad that Nick hasn't even posted a random Cuevas post. I miss Nick
