Playoff Bound: San Diego Secures Wild Card
This is a big day for the Stallion franchise. Not only is it my first time in the playoffs since rejoining the league, but this will be only the 6th time the SD franchise will make an appearance in the playoffs, ever, and the first appearance since 2075.
(Has there ever been a real life franchise suck that bad over an 80 year period?)
pulling for the Vice so I can secure that 1st round bye

Hai Feng Chu has played 16 seasons in the ML and has more SB's than K's. 943 SB's, 903 K's, he also has 1360 BB's in that time
HFC also has the single season SB's record set way back in 2079 with 121

Under the radar career, definitely a stud.

Diamond hiding in the rough.
He really wasn't "stuck" anywhere. He has had a pretty decent career!
He was with us from 2077 through 2082
He has the single season SB's record set in 2079 with 121
He was selected to the All-Star game in 2080
He won the 2081 NDL AL Hechler and Koch Award at CF
He won the 2082 NDL AL Hechler and Koch Award at CF
Then he went to Shelby in 2082 and he won the 2081 NDL AL Hechler and Koch Award at CF.
Then he went to Charlotte from 2084 through most of 2089.
While there, he was selected to the All-Star game in 2086
He won the NDL NL player of the Week Award and the 2087 Hechler and Koch at LF award.
He then moved to SF in 2090
He then won the NDL NL Wild Card Series MVP Award in 2090.

And I feel like we are staring down the barrel of a gun trying to get into these playoffs.
Avg winning percentage for Philly's opponents they have left = .392
Avg winning percentage for our opponents that we have left = .613

You know how you know a team is low on championships? They love telling you about player accolades.

Playoff file is up. But first, we have a tiebreaker between Cleveland and Philadelphia. Playoffs won't begin until about 5-6 EST tomorrow due to later exports so we need to have this tiebreaker game complete before then.
Also a good time to set your ticket prices for playoffs.

quad post.
got bored and figured out (my way) the value of our players based on how we spend, and i applied it to my hitters, i'll do pitchers after.
A lot of the big negatives are UFA's so out you go. A couple Arb decisions
The next step will be using age to project the next yr information based on if there will be an increase (prime) or decline. The problem I noticed is we dont have a fucking decline and 34 yr olds are just as good as 26 yr olds based on per AB.

bEAST champs!
But another pitcher out for the season … my 3rd or 4th this year and has another out for about 1/3 of the year. Not ideal
