The Pythagorean Theorem of Baseball is a creation of Bill James which relates the number of runs a team has scored and surrendered to its actual winning percentage, based on the idea that runs scored compared to runs allowed is a better indicator of a team's (future) performance than a team's actual winning percentage.

Nick talking so much about pythag this season definitely has to be a record.
nono man, its just fun to talk about when you leave teams hitless on the score sheet.

I can just picture Billy right now
But to be fair, it's not like none of his guys have gotten hurt. He did lose Eismont for the year.

Trying to hold out on calling Lippy up til next season, but he may force my hand here.
I see Sykes is getting those rehab starts in, waiting for his triumphant return.

Lippy is 100% ready but there is really no value in calling him up. Save that service time and he will win ROY next year

Luis Flores and his 21 potential control has a lot of growing up to do but he's only 18 but ya know, scouts.

This is the annoying part of the variation. Mine says 72. So my scout says he's near elite control and yours says he's never going to be a major leaguer type control.
I hate that.
But...OSA says 88 control potential, so I like my chances.
