Lol, I have made playoffs 16 out of 17 seasons and won 13 divisions. That has spanned realignment, I have been in divisions with 3 playoff teams and other 100 game winners. I've won 100 games 9 of the last 17 seasons and under 90 just 3 time. The last two seasons I did not win division I won 104 and 98 games.

That is one of the worst arguments we have seen around here in quite some time, congratulations.

Again, playing in the weak AL West of a few seasons back. You have gone through realignment twice. You did not get so lucky this time around and you're well aware that it is fixing to bite you.

I've been in competitive division and bad divisions over the last 2 decades just like everyone else in the league. This take just does not hold up in any way.

My division now has nothing to do with how I did anything with my team. The core I had this last part of my run is getting old, that would have happened no matter what division I was in.

Also, my payroll is only 11 million more over budget than your payroll.

You went over in 2059 (101-61), 2046 (93-69), and 2030 (102-60) with 2046 being 30M over and bragged so...

Jabs aside, there's been atleast one, and up to six, teams each year who have been "over budget" for the past decade. Those teams have been all types, - tittle contenders, playoff hopefuls, and even ones lost trying to figure out their rebuild. It's essentially kicking the can down the road - it's gives you what you need right away but if done too often can really hamper your future.

This is exactly right. Going over budget is not a bad thing if you understand how the finances work and have a plan when you do it.

I went over 3 seasons of 50+ eh..
