Trendon: 'yes'
my assistant: 'This is Nivian from Senator Nelson's office again, how are you?'
Trendon: says something cordial
my assistant: 'Senator Nelson was so impressed by your earlier conversation and enthusiasm in your letter that he was hoping you were free tomorrow evening to speak alongside him at an engagement in Washington'
Trendon: Trendon gasps (my assistant said she heard him lose his breath at that moment)
my assistant: Obviously, all the travel arrangements will be covered by our office but because we're not sure about all the details of the event I will need to email you information. Could i have your email, please?
Trendon: gives email
