I don't necessarily see an issue with this trade.
Numbers wise it is pretty even.

The issue I see is, would the Cardinals really trade away those players in real life when they are really getting nothing that is helping them out in return?

The relief pitchers are pretty damn close and so is the SPs.

Just my thoughts, again, it is a meh trade. I don't see any real benefit to either side.

Based purely on overall, it is a direct upgrade in 2 positions for the user. I think this is a bad precedent to start off with. I'd like to see any CPU trade be equal or less in total OVR for each side, based on "useable" players. What that means is that people don't skate around the requirement by throwing in their 75 rated backup OF for the CPU's 65 rated backup OF.

My initial reaction to this is no. I'm open to talking through it.

I was pretty much thinking the same thing myself.

ALso to add to Niddlers about would they trade away. TO me the RP are whatever. But no the Cards would not trade away 25 year Wainwright for 31 yr old Grienke any day. And like Reign said, the user is gaining and the CPU is losing in both. I am also leaning towards a no here.

I agree on the no vote.

I did not look at the players ages and I agree that they would not trade a 25 year old for a 31 year old who is technically worse in overall rating.

I thought this was just a one season thing? They saw it as "fair value" so that's why I submitted it.

I can re-do it with a third piece from each and send it through tonight.

It is a 1 season thing, But I will not let you take advantage of a trade. The reason there is a trade committee.

You can try to redo it, But if the same 4 players are in the mix I can guarantee it gonna end up the same way. You win here and Cards get nothing.

Final vote as all 3 on committee is - NO
