That’s where I’ll be. It’s the NIET (National Institute for Excellence in Teaching) National Conference.

This new job is proving to be pretty sweet. I have this trip which will be a yearly thing and next month they’re sending me to Amelia Island, FL from February 6-10.

Amelia Island is awesome.

Grapevine Texas is meh but the Gaylord is great.

My favorite food spot over there is a small place called Tommy Tamales. Best tamale bowl you will ever have.

Then BBQ hot up Hard Eight which is right down the street. Not my favorite BBQ in DFW but top 5.

Guy goes from Saltlyfe to Texas BBQ and tamale expert. Unbelievable the transformation.

The salt will always be there but the life will never return. I can’t see ever moving back to Florida but never say never.
