Since the NDL Ladder has been such a great addition to the league, I thought Id write a little column here and there to help NDL ESPN with some stories.

Ill try to stay on top of a ladder update each week and see how the standings are looking and some trends going on.

Feel free to add any cool games you may have been a part of or any other ladder tid bits.


Standings Chatter

Shel and BigMike are currently running away with this thing. Shel is at the top with 46.5 points and BigMike is right on his tail at 32. We all know how we have to settle this...LADDER MATCH!!!
Shel has been matching up almost exclusively with his opponents and different teams while BigMike seems to like Fresno State and of course his Gators.

Then Oracle isnt far behind with an undefeated record as well sitting at 6-0 and 15 points. ICE is 4-0 but hasnt gained a lot of points in his matchups.

The bottom feeders at this point are 6feet, Oldschoola, Kdog, Riccio, and Kelly. They all either have only 1 win or none on the board as of yet. Still early and Im sure they were trying some squads out and experimenting with some things...or they just suck.

Trend Chatter

Shel has scored over 50 two times and over 40 3 times. So much for no offense on Heisman level.

Dolemite has played 19 games and is the leader in that category. Thats a lot of Pacificos!

BigMike and Shel have won by an average of 18 points over his opponents. Exactly the same for both coaches. Weird


That concludes this weeks Ladder Chatter. Stay tuned next week to see if Shel or BigMike get that first loss or actually play each other for first place, see if the bottom feeders turn things around, and if the guys in the middle of the pack make some big jumps to the top.

We gotta get all the articles outta him we can, cause in about a month, NCAA will be shelved and he'll only play his customary 2 league games per week.

Plus have a little extra time at work and I loving the activity in the ladder. It needed some attention.

Ill stay on this as long as the activity and demand for it stays pretty high. Right now, we are getting some great ladder games in.

Trying to make AJ proud.

What about the controversy piece about Shel and BigMike????? C'Mon, we want some dirt!

I know people want to test some shit out, but why not make them count for something and have a cool system in place to keep track of all your games that you played??

Hence the ladder system that is awesome.

The Shel-Mike controversy will have to be settled on the field. Specifics are forthcoming but there was a lengthy conversation between both coaches and a line was drawn.

Now its up to them to get a game in and settle it on the field!!

Shel/BigMike...this is only the beginning maybe the grand finale will be in the title game that some moron predicted them to be in.

Better to get that loss outta the way during a ladder than before the NDL season starts though.

I still dont even know what this secret convo was about, lol.

And it wasn't a ladder, it was a scrim.

Some folks view the 2 separately, some view them as one, as we've learned.
