Dogs Have Bite
Miss State moves to 1-0 in the SEC, defeat Auburn 31-17.
STARKVILLE, Mississippi - AP The Bulldogs fresh off their win over #10 USC were back in action tonight against SEC West foe Auburn. The Bulldogs looked to set the tone early and it worked. The running game was extremely solid, the offense didn't it over sans a Hail Mary attempt before half time on a jump ball. The Bulldogs were seemingly on D all night though, losing the possession game by nearly 12 minutes. But, that defense bent and didn't break after a WR got loose in the first quarter for the Tigers. Hopefully this formula for success can keep on going. The Dogs have a fantastic #13 Clemson squad as their next matchup, not to mention a coaching rivalry with a superb Tulsa team and the rest of the SEC gridlock. Needless to say achieving the win goal after 3 games wasn't expected and Miss State would really like to challenge for a Bowl Bid now and the Egg Bowl Trophy.
GG & GL this season bro.

Auburn can't hold on to the ball
Miss St. Wins
Auburn turned the ball over four times. The Tigers moved the ball well, but several chances to score ended in turnovers. Miss St. took advantage and turned those into points. The game changer was a 97 yard fumble return for a TD.
