Cowboys Headed to Honolulu UPDATED: 12/17/2012 - 6:38PM
Two relatively new coaches will meet up for the Season 26 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. The SMU Mustangs are hot right now in the C-USA, having mustered a respective 9-3 record under coach OutRage. 'Ol Swelly has his WYO Cowboys at 6-6 and looks to lead his troops to a nice bowl win. It will be a challenge for the Cowboys as the Mustangs are a HEAVY favorite by the Las vegas odds makers at -17 (-110) and (-550 M/L); Over/Under is listed at 63.5
Both teams average around 300 yards per game, and both average 2+ turnovers per game as well. Look for Zack Line on the Mustangs side of the ball to make plays, as well as Garrett Gilbert under center to air it out all night long. On Wyoming's side of the ball, Brett Smith looks to show up on a positive note as he has been inconsistent all season. Brandon Miller behind him will be making some plays as well.
See you in Hawaii!
