I am heading to this game and it should be a good one. I look for OSU to control the clock with the running game but they will take their shots down the field. Tressel ball is all about balance. At the end of the first half last week they had I believe 16 run plays and 16 pass plays. The key is to pressure Harris to see if he matured from last year. Most of the Miami games that I watched last year, when a team was able to pressure him he got "happy feet" in the pocket as did/does Pryor. It will be interesting to see how Miami handles how big the OSU guys are and how OSU can handle some of the speedy Miami players.

I am not going to predict a final score but everyone knows who I want to win.

What worries me most is how the Wisconsin game unfolded. OSU is very big and we are small up front with more quick/speed type guys at the LB and DL. I can see OSU exploiting this and just dominating up front like Wisky did.

We are also very notorious for never covering the tight end after getting ran all over as we commit to the run which leads to huge plays.

And this matchup is notorious as of late for the underdog to spring the upset. No one gave the Canes a chance in 99 and Miami destroyed that OSU team. No on gave OSU a chance in the Fiesta bowl and they sprung the upset.

Id like to see that trend continue.

Wisconsin should have one of the best, if not the best, OL in the country this season so I would think you're a bit better off than you think, C.

Love the experience on The U's front 7 though

Agreed but Id rather much more experience in the Canes secondary then the front 7.

I love the athleticism and speed but this might get squashed by OSU's power. Never know how it will turn out.

This is going to be an awsome football game. I remember the 99 game, everyone around here thought we were going to win big and what not, and look what happened. I was not one of the peps that thought that. As for this game, i wouldnt say no one is not giving Tha U a chance. Miami's speed scares me a little, and Torrence on the corner scares me, watch Miami to try and burn him, his coverage last week vs Marshall i thought was pretty weak. I like how Pryor was hitting Stoneburner the Bucks te for a few passes last week, so if what Cory says is true above then he ll hopefully have a big day. Defensively, both the QB's can hurt each defense with there feet, both the bucks/mia have great lb's and great dl's. Im looking forward to the game, last game i was at was the Texas/Ohio St game so hopefully the result wont be the same.

. Im sure all Tha U fans are hoping for a blow out as the Buck fans would hope for so we all dont have to have heart attacks, but i dont see that happening.

I would agree with this, it looks to me like OSU will have an advantage in the line of scrimmage, but there is a reason they play the games. The closer the day gets, the more and more I think OSU wins convincingly...

I am not sold on Harris like a lot of other folks are... He definitely is better than what they have had in the last several years before him though.

I actually Jacory will continue to improve and will be a solid QB.

He hurt his thumb early last year and that plagued him the rest of the year and he had to play due to a true frosh that was nowhere near ready to contribute so I think he forced way to much as we saw with the picks.

I think he is 100% this year, has learned from his mistakes (hopefully), and continues to grow into the position. He is a little bigger and supposedly was in the film room since last season ended and all that good "blog talk".

We will see though. His receiving core is absolutely loaded though so that helps. Hankerson,Benjamin, Aldarius Johnson, and Byrd will all be playing on Sundays.

Just really worried about our Oline. The battle in the trenches as the norm will decide this game.

We watched the Purdue vs Ohio State game last night from last year. If Ohio State plays like that it wont take a flawless game. Pryor looked horrible in that game.

Best thing you got going for you Cory is that I'm going to the game. The last 3 games ive been to is Texas when vy beat us up at the shoe, Penn state 2 hrs ago when we lost and then USC last year when of course we lost. So you got that going for you.
