Hey guys I will be in Tampa in early March for Spring Break for one night before we go on a cruise. Where is a good place to hang out at or maybe do for a night, maybe a club/bar or whatever

not to rain on the parade as i'm sure you'll have fun anywhere with your boys on spring break but

i think mons venus is one of the worst strip clubs i've ever been to. there are no private rooms or anything and if i'm not mistaken they don't even allow booz.

ybor was okay but really trashy.

Well he is going to Tampa only before he goes on the cruise.

The best things in Tampa are Mons and Ybor. Tampa kind of sucks.

Ask Nole though as he is a new Tampa resident and may know some good stuff under the radar.

And Mons is awesome. Not like the Miami or Ft Lauderdale strip clubs but a definite place to go experience. Especially for Tampa.

Channelside is where your boat will be taking off from and theres some nice bars right there so if you get a room close to there you really dont have to travel far. The Hard Rock Casino isnt far either and always a good time. Agree completely with Dave about Mons and Ybor. I guess living here it seems like those are the "tourist" areas with the biggest douches running around. Ybor can definitely be fun but its hit or miss with the crowd. Coyote Ugly is a great bar there and have had one of my funnest nights there a few years ago but then 2 days later it sucked balls. Depending on the weather Clearwater Beach is less than an hour away from the port and is a great place to visit if you have never been. Hit me up on PM or here if you have anymore questions. I have lived here for about 6 years now and go out alot in the area because I have friends that live in that area.

Tampa is growing on me

It definitely lacks "flair" and can be quite dreadful to the eye compared to south florida or even orlando to be honest

the best thing about it is its proximity to clearwater and the beaches south of st petersburg which are quite nice for beauty and for kids who want a "shell" kinda beach

for your case, your best bet would be channelside

ybor is more for locals (floridians) or if you're here visiting a local...even then its nothing REALLY that memorable as far as a vacation goes...its the ype of plave that if you're with your boys or thr right people though, its a blast

the Hard Rock here imo sucks...but thats because im not much of a gambler and i compare it to vegas casinos.

u got your chickies so mons is outta the questiion anyway (i havent been there ina while but i have been hearing as well its nothing like the early 90's when i went a few times)

Without going on about the other shit to do - CS is really your best bet
