Hugme is out this week on spring break, just an FYI
as for the Kings. they're not very good. i need shooters and they don't have many. i'm interested to see what players end up being my go to guys.

Definitely like what the bench gave in the first game. Hill and Blake were huge in terms of energy and points off the bench. Got some production from MWP which is always nice. In fact, he was wide open in the corner and I probably hesitated for 5 seconds to see if anything any other shot would develop.
But Blake gets a huge assist on this one. Caught fire in the first quarter to get us back in the game. I hope the bench can keep it up.

Dealer and I just played an awesome game
Grizz force overtime with a 3 at the buzzer and end up winning by 7
Grizz had 4 players in double figures led by Gay with 23.
TWolves were led by Love who posted a double double with 19 pts and 11 Rebs
Great game Dealer

Re: NDLH3 -- League Talk
Grizz move to 2-0 as they outlast the Thunder
Gay had 30 , including a huge 3 late in the 4th that gave them the lead
OKC was led by Durant who had 23.OKC was cold from 3 point land but dominated the boards which led to second chance points
GG bearass!!

Grizz fall to the Lakers 70-69
LA built a 12 point lead but the Grizz rallied and led by 1
An errand pass led to a layup by the Lakers to give them the 70-69 advantage and Mayos 3 as time expired fell short
Great game Sammy

Re: NDLH3 -- League Talk
Spurs storm out to 12-0 lead, fall behind by 10 late in the game, but roar back to win on the road by 3.
Spurs flew out of the game and were up 12-0 before Memphis got on the board thanks to some good 1-3-1 zone and some fast break points. Grizz came back and got a decent run, but it ended 23-14 after one, with Stephen Jackson getting hot early. 2nd quarter saw the Grizz chip away at the lead, as they slowed the Spurs down and outscored them 15-13 as neither team shot over 38% in the quarter, but it was a 7 pt game. In the third quarter the Grizzlies finally came back and got the lead, as they shot 60% and were able to get to the rim at will, but still trailed by 1 as the 4th quarter began. The Grizzlies would then eventually go on an 11-0 run as they pushed their lead out to ten, as San Antonio couldn't hit water if they were in a boat, missing from one foot out to 23 feet. But the Spurs were able to use a trapping 2-3 zone and get 3 turnovers and a block that led to fast break points, and then after a missed shot, Tony Parker's and-1 gave the Spurs a 69-68 lead. Another missed shot and the Spurs came down, giving it to Tim Duncan for a 17 foot jumper to give them a 3 pt lead, and then another missed three by the Grizzlies (4 of 18 on the game) sealed the win in the final seconds.
Tony Parker had 18 and Stephen Jackson added 17 as the Spurs used their 7 offensive rebounds to win the game. OJ Mayo led Memphis with 20 in the losing efford, and Gay had only 10 pts but added 9 rebounds.
Great game Bigred, see you for the return game!

Re: NDLH3 -- League Talk
Kings are struggling so far... rotation issues seemed to be sorted out as the team was playing too many guys the first couple games. Now that we're down to 9 guys, we feel much better.
Cousins has been sub par so far while Thornton and Evans seem to be the main offensive weapons. Jimmer has been bombing them up off the bench but a recent 0-10 game from 3 has him on a short leash.
we're looking for a late season push to get back into the top 4.

Re: NDLH3 -- League Talk
Lakers sitting at 7-1 at the moment. Some thoughts:
Post game has been pretty solid. Drew and Pau have shot well from there. Also Kobe has been a monster there as well. Inside out has really helped our midrange stuff. Drawing double teams and the extra pass has gotten guys some open looks.
3 ball pretty much sucks as expected. A few per game is all we can really ask for.
Other than the home game against OKC, we've executed pretty well down the strtech. Been able to battle back from deficits and hold on (by a thread at times) to the leads it looks like we're going to squander. But I also am realistic as we've got some breaks to help us win some. Execution in the last minute has to improve offensively.
Bench is still a liability, but we may have found our guys. Murphy has stepped in and hit some big shots. Goudelock too of late. We'll shorten down the rotations at some point, but we're still experimenting with various lineups.
The most important thing is the team dynamic. Pretty good job of balancing shots for the most part. Kobe leads the team in shots (big surprise), but everyone is getting their chance...minus Bynum. That will have to change moving forward, but Pau and the rest get to stay engaged in games.

Fun season fellas.

Re: NDLH3 -- League Talk
Kings are getting hot with back to back wins over the Spurs then the Mavs
in the last game Evans and Cousins combined for 52 points on 22 of 30 shooting. Evans added 10 assists 3 steal and 5 boards while Cousins had 7 boards a block and a steal.
the Kings need this type of effort to keep moving up the standings.
Jimmer Watch: 0-6 and 0-4 from 3 with 2 turnovers

Re: NDLH3 -- League Talk
Minnesota needs to learn how to play a 3rd quarter. Every single game we have played we seem to go on a cold stretch that either puts us down double digits or has a lose a double digit lead.
Kevin Love has been big for us, but need to find a way to get him more involved in the offense

Re: NDLH3 -- League Talk
Grizz are 3-5
In 4 of the losses they have reliquinshed 4th quarter leads . Mainly turnovers and the other teams just making shots
Gay has been a stud , need to more out of Conley

Re: NDLH3 -- League Talk
Hug and I just played one of the most intense games that I've ever been apart of
Game featured 40 lead changes as neither team led by more than 5
He dominated the paint and I was finally able to get Conley going (23 points)
Mayo ties the game up with a jumper from the elbow to force overtime
About half way thru ot the Grizz were up 1 but committed foul to send the Hornets to the line. Must've been one hard foul because I got booted right off the network
Were gonna try to hook up again this week but nothing will be able to top the game we just played
