Do you guys still think he will stick around and be a consistent nba player?
Honestly not being a dick but wondering if his play or the league adjusting to him has hanged your minds.

I'm not sure that he's much different than Greivis Vasquez, in terms of skill set / ability.

If Shaq is #3, Hakeem can't be far behind, IMO.
The suits he wears, they are decent.Cnasty wrote:Huh?

100%, assuming Woodson likes him going forward.Cnasty wrote:Do you guys still think he will stick around and be a consistent nba player?

not sure what point you were trying to make but he had a good season even after the media craze of Linsanity ended up until he got hurt.
he ended his season at 15 ppg 6.2 apg 3.1 rpg 1.6 apg 45% shooting 32% from 3 (he's not a good shooter) and 80% from the line.
i'd say if you wanted to go back and do a shel like search thats about exactly what i said i had expected from him.

Re: NBA Thread
Not a bad season at all.
I honestly wasn't trying to make anY point, just wondered how his season panned out and if anyone changed their opinion on him if he shit th bed down the stretch, haven't been keeping track of nba much.
My gripe was the media suck off anointing him the next big thing when he is average at best for the position. Seems he was a little better than above average though for the position overall but that's your job as stat boy

Shaq was never lsited at 340.....that was always speculation. he was always list at like 270

Re: NBA Thread
he's better than replacement level but he's not a top 10 pg or anything like that and without D'antoni he's not going to be as good as he was. but he played this season like a contributing NBA player.Cnasty wrote:Not a bad season at all.

Re: NBA Thread
height is certainly more important than weight given everything else (hands/athleticism/skills) are equal.shel311 wrote:ReignOnU wrote:Some random guys that we playing against Shaq...

Re: NBA Thread
When I looked through it, 1 thing became pretty apparent... not only is there a huge difference between Wilt and the guys that were guarding him, but there is also an even wider gap between the depth and surrounding players. Shaq played in an era where SGs are 6'5 / 6'6; SFs are 6'7+ and PFs were consistently 6'9+.
