Scout's Alleged Comment Goes Public

Scout Julian Henry thought he was having a quiet conversation in a local restaurant, but his comments quickly went public and starting pitcher Roberto Luyo wished he had been whispering.

Allegedly sharing remarks about players he thought may prove themselves and those he considered first round candidates for cuts, Henry's comments reached the training camp where Luyo was working through routines on the field, taking it in stride and demonstrating the maturity and leadership his team looks for in its players.

"I know Henry and he's never afraid of making his opinion known. I suppose it's part of what makes him good at the job. It doesn't matter if it came down from the top, what I do I do. If I get cut, he's a genius. If I don't, then what matters is I'm on the roster. That's exactly where I plan to be."

Reportedly, Henry's comments were overheard by a nearby waiter and a long time fan, who decidedly called the local press for confirmation. The paper, in turn, reached out to Luyo, looking for comment and a story.

An anonymous spokesman for the club said, "It's not an issue, and opening day is far away for now. Things aren't decided by rumor, whether it was said or not. They're decided on the field, not over a cup of coffee or whatever it was he was drinking."

It's difficult to tell whether that is an endorsement or an indictment.

Reign, i think we have a problem with my roster. On the boxes ,it shows Ricardo Sanchez on my roster, but he signed elsewhere. i dont have game in front of me, but we reversed the signing because it was done in the post season last year.

No clue how this happened. He even has Chicago's contract value. I'll ship him back over there tomorrow.

Random guess, but the preseason predictions may have been generated while some teams don't have lineups/staffs completely set, causing odd results.

Templates are limited. If you can make/find quality templates, I'm opening to using them.

true. However, some of us have no idea when you generate the seasons schedule. Perhaps last years stays there as a placeholder till you generate this years towards the end of spring training. Which, apparently isnt how it works at all. Now we know

Yep. It predicted I would win 76 games based on my two-man pitching rotation and my five man batting lineup

No diffrent then my 1st month and last month. I play all playoff teams during these periods. But it is what it is, I told reign I would help find something for next season.

No, I mean that's the only people I had in there. My two best hitters (Hayden and McMinn) weren't even in the lineups because I had taken them out because I was still working on the new orders.
