PS4 in 2013

I'm still debating whether I need to get one at launch.

My local Best Buy is having one of their private shopping events this weekend. If I pre-order a PS4, extra controller, and 1 game, I get a $30 gift card. And the pre-order is launch day pick-up. But, if I'm not terribly interested in playing games that have been confirmed at launch, and they will almost assuredly have some problem with launch units, wouldn't it just be better to wait...

I probably wont be getting one until the launch of 'College Football 2015' Unless the NDL stays with the PS3 for another game version, then its another year for me!

It is nice that they confirmed that it will have a 500 GB hard drive and just like the PS3, you can change/upgrade it.

With digital games, I don't think 500 GB is enough. My 500 GB is full thanks to gameshare and PS+ downloads.

Watching the GameCom broadcast now on http://www.ign.com/, they just stated this, and I am not sure if we discussed this, but the PS4 will be using Twitch to broadcast the games.
Makes me wonder if that is why the Twitch and Justin/TV logins now have to be separate.

really? a week after Xbox? it was rumored Xbox would align with the Ghosts release.

PS4 will launch on Nov 15th of this year.

They just announced that if you buy the PS3 version of COD Ghosts, WatchDogs, Assassins Creed Black Flag and Battlefield.
Digital PS4 versions will be available for a limited time for a significantly discounted price. They did not state how much.


The Vita will drop from $249 and will be available for $199. They are pushing the Remote Play feature on the PS4.
