GoTW - Week 11

#21 Connecticut Huskies driccio21: 4-1 (2-0) vs. #1 Louisville Cardinals BIGmike: 7-0 (4-0)

Here's a doosy of a game for the AAC to enjoy. UConn was off to a slow start on the season but have come roaring back to life winning 4 straight games. Dave claimed at the beginning of the season that he was rusty and it was going to be a rough one for him. Some coaches doubted his higher ranking with in the conference predictions. Yet here he stands at 2-0 in conference play and ranked in the top 25 with a chance to show the NDL how real his team is. Almost a story book set up for the Huskies, the problem though is he's facing the #1 team in the nation and super user BIGmike. The Louisville Cardinals are playing strong and sit at 7-0. When compared statistically it's ugly as well. The Cardinals own every category except defensive sacks and they're only losing out on that by 0.2 points. Louisville is putting up two more touchdowns per game as well as putting up 150 more yards of offense per game. In all reality this will probably be a set back for the Huskies but if they can keep it close through the 4th perhaps we can see a new #1 next week...provided anyone votes....

AAC Notables

Image Coach Dakshdar: 3-1 (1-1) vs. Image Coach nole4real: 0-3 (0-1)

Rutgers is still trying to keep pace with Louisville. Two losses are needed and they'll definitely be paying close attention to the UConn game. South Florida, well, they get the participation ribbon this season.

Image Coach Black Rain: 0-3 (0-1) vs. Image Coach RanDawg: 2-3 (2-0)

Houston is another team that still has a shot at the conference title. Their advantage over Rutgers is they sit at 2-0. But they haven't played BIGmike yet either. UCF is getting games in now but rust seems to have take hold of Black Rain. The Golden Knights games are about pride at this point.

Image Coach buckeye76: 0-5 (0-2) vs. Image Coach fsupenguin: 2-2 (0-2)

Neither team really has a dog in the fight for the conference at this point which should make it a good fun game. Cincy is still looking for that first win though so they will have a little more motivation.

Image Coach oldschoola: 0-2 (0-2) vs. Image Coach ndlkdog36: 0-4 (0-0)

This is probably Memphis' best chance at winning a game this season. Would be nice if it were a home game.
