makes sense, Would be a cool feature.ReignOnU wrote:No rainouts, just delays. From my understanding, because the schedules you pre-existing templates for the format, it doesn't have a way to rewrite that template, even if temporary, to make the rain out happen and reschedule.
How Weather Affects Games in OOTP
Each game played outdoors has weather, which can affect player performance and also the risk of injury. Some of the effects of weather include:
Players may tire more quickly on extremely hot days
Players may take a long time to get warmed up on cold days
Pitchers may take more pitches to warm up on cold days
Players are slightly more likely to suffer injuries in cold or rainy days
Pitcher stamina is less when the weather is poor
Note: There are no weather-related delays or game cancellations in OOTP.

Makes sense, Kind of why i added the roof. To stay out of bad weather in late September and October. And I guess I would assume when it rains it gets closed. So prolly no delays in Detroit anymore.Cnasty wrote:Yea I found that odd to read in the manual since we have seen weather delays but thats straight from the manual itself on weather.
They also discuss weather factors for cities and pre determined weather to match that city but can be customized by the commish to over ride weather factors. No idea where ours are but we always mention injuries so maybe time to do an experiment and see if cold weather cities are seeing an increase in injuries in winter months or something.
Just some fun weather chatter.

I'm almost certain my injury rate has increased since moving from Hawaii to Ohiodoc wrote:Cnasty wrote:Yea I found that odd to read in the manual since we have seen weather delays but thats straight from the manual itself on weather.

That's interesting because I have had less injuries in Honolulu then Pittsburgh. I Wonder if Beefy has experienced the same thing moving out west. ZThat would be something to keep an eye on
Beefy lost a ton of players last year, So I dunno about that. He had like 12 ML players on DL at 1 point.doc wrote:Cnasty wrote:Yea I found that odd to read in the manual since we have seen weather delays but thats straight from the manual itself on weather.

Dillonvale doesn't have muffleheads and gnats that get in players eye's, and cause them to trip while runningThe_Niddler wrote:And I have not had a lot of injuries in Ohio.
1 here or there but nothing ridiculous.
and . . .I like your club, but I think I'd rather play for Houston given that they're offering me a sweet deal. Let's put it this way, I'm going to be very happy, and very wealthy, if everything pans out. That said, I'm open to suggestions.
Are these emails they meant to send to ANOTHER club, but accidentally sent to me??I've worked hard for every organization I've played for, and now I have a chance to consider multiple offers. Houston, for example, has put forward a financially rewarding proposition. I'm not saying it's a done deal, but I'm a lot closer to signing with them than I am with you.
