I signed an IFA last night. He wasn't in the FA listings and I even searched him using some parameters I set up to look for IFA's. The only reason I came across him was because he was short listed and I was clearing that list out of people I didn't want on there anymore. Anyone get a message saying their scout found an IFA named Carlos Rodriguez? Nothing special a MR 20/25 prospect is all.

any player your scout "finds", automatically goes to your shortlist. So that happens, you may have just missed the email.

I'd be ok with it. I just set all my lineups for ST on the morning sim yesterday, didn't even bother with downloading the sim last night or this morning.

Way too soon, had this happened one day earlier I would have put off signing Otto Morris, the donkey and Rhodes so I would have been able to sign Lawrence Franks. Now I have No money for a high contact / avoid K's guy. Ooh well, I will try to go with a masher at DH instead of a high BA / OBP guy.

I am ready to implement an assistant commish, effective immediately.
- I'll need to train you on running sims at some point in the next week or 2.
- I'll need you to run sims off and on throughout this season (mostly towards the end of the season).
- I'd like you to handle the running of the Rookie Draft on the board.
- I'll train you on the complete season rollover process at the end of this season.

This has nothing to do with me stepping down, in fact, it's quite the opposite, as I intend on holding the position at least until we are setup and stable in OOTP 15. But just throwing it out there right now because I've accepted a position to work on the OOTP 15 beta team, specializing in online leagues, which will require a good amount of my free time over the next few months.

I know a few guys have mentioned, behind the scenes, that they'd be interested. At this point, I'm looking for someone to officially step up and accept the spot. If more than 1 person wants to do it, I'll consider all candidates and make a decision soon.

I don't know what I can/can't post with the NDA right now... but I can tell you that I see the beta info prior to 2012... I'd already like to punch the devs in the face. So many issues that I've seen myself that should/could have been fixed... and there is a post that has to be equal to a 20 page explanation on financials that is incredible. Hopefully I've got some room to talk about it with everyone while I go through this process.
