I am there now. I go into work and hang out for a little while. Answer some emails and then I just BS the rest of the day. Last week I left early and went golfing. Was going to do that again today but I have nobody to go with. Starting next week I think I will golf every day, at least 9 holes. Only 44 days leftCnasty wrote:George 2 weeks from retirement

They tend to point with all four fingers and, when they eat, they have one hand on their thigh and they just shovel food in.shel311 wrote:You're 1 up on me, I didn't know what either of Trendon's tips meant.Weasel wrote:What does this mean?trendon wrote:nobody is going to take your fucking food.GeorgesGoons wrote:Getting ready to board the plane, I am not officially out of 5he Army yet but I will never wear 5he uniform again.

Re: Retirement!
george, you making sure to search jobs on usajobs that are only eligible to those with prior federal work?
Re: Retirement!
also, look to become a background investigator. either contractor or with feds. it seems to encompass a lot of stuff that you want to do and they are def. looking for people like you.

Thanks for the heads up but I have no intention of leaving Colorado Springs until the boy graduates from HS, which is another 5 years away. He needs some kind of stability with friends and what not.Wasted Memory wrote:Saw your posts in the Random Discussions thread and thought I'd post this here for you.

Re: Retirement!
There is a Northrop Grumman location in Colorado Springs but I have no idea what they do there. Don't think it is our drone stuff, probably cyber security (which I've been told is hiring like crazy)...

It is cyber crap. Wish I had training in the IT field, there are companies here in the Springs hiring left and right.

Re: Retirement!
get more of a slimmer cut suit and go to Zara. pretty cheap and very nice suits.
dave originally recommended them and I was impressed.
