Few players his age are still in the league, but Justin Hitchcock of the Charlotte Knights clearly loves the game and clearly he can still get the job done. Last week the 40-year-old third baseman hit the ball with the consistency of someone ten years younger, which made Hitchcock a popular and well-deserved selection as National League Player of the Week.

He paced the Knights attack by putting up a .500 batting average, 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 9 RBIs and 5 home runs. Hitchcock also scored 6 runs.

So far this year in 28 games Hitchcock is hitting .364 with 13 home runs, 28 RBIs and 18 runs scored.

Per Google:

If you erase players from the middle of your list, "Consolidate" rebuilds it without the empty space.
