Playoffs will begin Tuesday at 8 PM CST... My work schedule has changed so this CAN NOT go more than 3 hours so have your stuff ready. If it is not done by 11 PM CST then we stop and finish the next night. We are usually right at 3 hours so it should not be a problem if everyone is prepared and does not micro manage the shit out of this

Gary Weber out a week with hamstring tendinitis... That headline scared the shit out of me
Jonathan Leach is out for 3 weeks with a broken ass due to his kids low fumble rating
John Bradford is retiring at the end of the season... Never heard of him
Jeff Clark collects save #300
Ernest Harris gets hit #2500 in a loss to Cincy
David Hernandez has a 3 HR game in a win over Winterfell
Bernard Rogers AL POTW hitting .500 with 5 HRs
Joseph Sexton NL POTW hitting .400 with 5 HRs
Ricardo Herrera signs a 3 year extension with PO worth 7.5 per year
Why not sim the wildcard round if we are pressed for time. It sucks rushing thru and not even being able to see if someone is struggling as you go straight to injuries and move on. I'd like to know if someone is hitting .075 thru 5 games so I can bench him.

Maybe a winter meeting topic?

I've always thought the way we do playoffs here is awful, personally. It should be split between 2 sims. Royally screws people who can't spend 3 or 4 hours at night watching.

Can split the series every time a home team changes or sim each level of the playoffs in 1 sim.

And Billy could live sim them to where we can watch through stats plus while he is simming each round. Just wouldn't be able to make changes during a series.

I like the live playoffs from the perspective of being able to make changes though if you have an injury during a series.

+1.. I am busier after work with my kids sports then I am when I am actually working. I don't have the time to sit through the live sims at night.

this is what my other league does. Every sim is one round of the playoffs. No changes during.

The downside is for sure injuries. I'd love a combo of that. No changing your lineup every single game, but if there's an injury, you can replace said injured player.

Yes i am a fan of the live series. I do like to make a move here and there for a cold bat tho. I do get it is painful for billy.

I am getting to this point in my life John, that is why in my league that I run, we sim one series at a time and I do it during the day while I am at work and use the live sim.

I just don't like that you will never know if someone is struggling as it goes way too fast nowadays, but on the bright side.....I only have to deal with it 2 or 3 times every 10-15 years.

I get the rushing thru stuff but we just don’t have time to make changes because a guy is 1 for 9, it will take forever. It already averages about 3.5 hours to do and I already wake up at 3 am to run it and go straight to work. Usually wraps up near midnight CST, it just can’t take longer than it already does to do live

Just make a rule, no changes each series unless there's an injury.

So if a guy is 1-25 going into game 7 and you guys are okay with not being able to bench him? That makes zero sense. Not saying give me stamina of my relief pitchers. But it would be nice to see if someone is struggling so you can bench them.

JD, is there a way to do the live sim on Stats+ the same time as the live sim is going?

#3 13.6 - Hou - Ortiz, Castellanos, Jones - 44-21 - .677
#3 13.6 - OCD - Rodriguez, Reyes, Ferreria - 33-13 - .717
#5 12.5 - MIA - Ramirez, Taylor, Miller - 40-27 - .597
#6 11.8 - Edm - Sykes, Gomez, Reynolds - 42-14 - .750
#7 11.5 - Wash - Hounsell, Grimes, Ramey - 46-23 - .667
#8 10.9 - Phi - Sanchez, Miller, Suarez - 32-23 - .582
