While everyone is taking shots and tying knots, the real conversation is what the fuck is Billy doing not putting a file up for download this morning? We cannot be satisfied with this! WTF!!
Might be because of our routine after playoffs video chat about everything from NDL, Football, Baseball, Politics, Seattle, BLM..... He may have one extra Jameson and Ginger Ale that wasn't needed.

Billy said it all "The Washington Thunder Crabs. Now before you all pile on with the inherited team jokeshe made some big FA acquisitions in J-Rod and David Miller and they paid off in the playoff run." Ted would not have spent anything on these guys and would be too busy trying to buy or rape someone out of the international guys. Just my 2 cents.
The fact that you have that stance proves you dont fully understand why Ted was so successful lol.

Typical RW move. Winning with someone else's team after blowing a ton of money, only to suck 6 years from now.

This!
Congrats to RW on a great season, can't take that away from you at all. But this team could have easily won a ring any of the last 3-4 season. Washington has had the most talented roster in the game for a few seasons now, and was coming off winning 120 games last year with this team.
if only i had of been around and pitched Rudy Taylor instead of.. .. Bill Dickson.. i think.. we woulda beat Edmonton and then beat Washington and then we wouldn't of went down this universe.. and Miami would be 4x champs.. damn (word of the day) human error on my part.

Great point but he didn’t win it. RW made some moves. Yes the team was given to him. But if Ted ran it would it had won the whole thing? No doubts in Ted but he was good for the last few years and didn’t win it.

The playoffs (especially in OOTP) are a complete crap shoot. Edmonton beat Miami and had no business doing so. It says more about someone who can put their team in a position Washington is in than it does if they happen to win a WS. Especially given he went on deep runs. He wasnt getting outed in the first round yearly.

don't believe the hype
I'd take one ted for 8 of you any day.
I don’t know if I’ve ever even spoken to you before but ok.
No idea what that has to do with anything
I realize you’re new but Ted was friends with many of us for like 10 + years. If you think he left cause he got his feelings hurt, which may be true, then what about the friends feelings he just bailed on after being close with for all those years.
He’s allowed to do whatever the heck he wants, but save the bullshit sympathy for people who deserve it. Ted had plenty of friends and supporters here.
Are they the same friends that pushed him out because he was better than they were? Do we need to post 800 more times about how sensitive of a guy he was? If you knew that, then why not just stop and not push him out. Fact is, he got fed up with the bullshit from people who didnt understand the game to the level he did and were jealous. Get over yourself and learn how to play the game. Dont take it out on someone after they've repeatedly asked you to stop.
I never said a word to ted about gameplay and I appreciated how good he was without having a clue about baseball. I put about 1 minute of thought into OOTP per day and do it for the camaraderie of keeping up with the guys here, except for AJ... fuck him
I don’t “blame him”. I just think it’s a much more complicated situation and the easy way to look at it is the “sympathy” card. We’ve been boys w ted a long ass time
He didn’t go about it the right way either and that pissed me off. Loyalty is important to me so just like he had his feelings hurt, when a friend of 10 years up and ghosts us my feelings get hurt as well. I’m sure I made the same exact post when Trendon left and Noley and AJ, etc. guys like Weasel and a few others stick around even tho they have no reason to because we have been friends for years, that matters to me. And further, I hit him up on Slack and I could continue to or text him if I wanted but last I heard from him he said “I’ll still be on the boards” and I haven’t seen him on since. That speaks volumes to me.
And I’ll say it again, ted had plenty of friends and supporters here and I’m sure he might still keep up with some of them, but he could have left the league and stayed around if he really gave a shit about us
