Time to get the pixel 7
Took me a while but in the past couple of years, I've come to the realization that I don't use phones for anything important, so no need to spend up. I'll probably get the same one I got now, I think it's hte Pixel 5a or something. I have the protection plan, so I'll take whatever they give me honestly.

I'm still rocking the Pixel 3XL and the wife has the Pixel 3. I am going to try and wait for the Pixel 8 and then get a new phone. But then again, I said the same thing last year....that I'll get the 7 this year. I'll ride this bad boy out till it no longer works
since 2017, every power 5 program has gone to a bowl game except 2. Kansas and Nebraska. Kansas will be going to a bowl after this season. Pretty damn pathetic

The Google pixel subscription program is for you then.
Every 2 years you get the most recent "A" version phone. It's $15 a month and includes the device protection. Since device protection runs ~$6 a month, you're effectively getting that new phone for $216 every 2 years. I couldn't find a cheaper way to buy a new phone every two years and I'm totally fine with the Pixel "A" phones.
Liberty is now #19 and just beat a 5-3 SEC team on the road this week!
- to be fair thats really their only win on the season. they lost to Wake in their only loss on the year by 1 which was a solid effort vs a decent team

Im no rocket scientist, but at those rates wouldnt it be over $500?

I'd take Mora right now. IU football is imploding back to their doormat status. Tom Allen will be the coach for the next two years because of the buyout the previous AD gave him but those years are going to be ugly. The portal will taketh away in huge fashion this offseason and IU hasn't even begun to sniff the NIL waters for football like they have for basketball. The institution is failing IU football yet again, so situation normal. Somehow I still watch it every Saturday like I always have.

If you look at it as $15 a month for 24 months it is $360 for the phone.
But, as mentioned, that includes the device protection, which (almost?) everyone typically carries. So you were already going to pay $144 over 24 months for device protection. Meaning you effectively get the phone for $216 over that same span.
I see what you were doing ($15 + $6) x 24 > $500. I wasn't very clear on what "includes the device protection" meant - you get it for the $15 a month automatically.

Aahhhh got it, thanks for clarifying.
Do a lot of people tend to get the protection? I don't think I've ever bought it in my life, one of those things I've always self insured
My wife likes to watch shows on her phone while in the tub drinking a glass of wine. I've had to replace 2 phones in the last 5 years due to her dropping it in the tub. So I definitely get the insurance
