I plan on being at the draft, but wouldn't mind having it at all. Besides, gives us something to chat about for the next few days (because nba 2k isn't enough). Plus it'll be fun to try to get information out of the guys in front of you!

Now would be a good time to set your draft lists if you arent going to be available as Doc made a good point. We will be doing a snake draft and you might be able to manipulate your picks so you dont end up with 4 second basemen. Sure its not a 100% fix, but it at least will help you somewhat.

Reminder: Draft is this Friday, 9 PM EASTERN. Lets try to get a nice turnout for the live draft but I understand not all can make it. I only ask one thing from everyone, be active for 162 games. If you become a dead team you will not be invited back. The group we have is as active as they come and a great group of guys.

Nice, i love having the draft order already up. 6th pick...its not about the early picks but who you score with in the late rounds OR in my case who I pick up during the season!

a first place finish and second place finish proves being active on the waiver wire works!

hopefully i can draft better this year though, ironically it was my early round picks last year that busted and my late rounders plus waivers got me to the second place finish.

Now that I see myself sitting at 3, I'm going to waste SO much time thinking over this pick for the next few days. Man, almost wish I had a later pick so I wouldn't be thinking about it this week. Pick 3 is nice... Pick 22 and 27 are the ones that concern me.

I started a keeper league and wanted about 10 to 12 guys... we have about 6 now so another 4-6 people would be wonderful. Its a h2h league and its free on espn. The name of the league is The Adventures of Mr Votto.... lol

PS....sorry for highjacking our NDL fantasy baseball league just though if anyone wanted to get in this one and couldnt or someone wanted to get into a keeper league they would be interested!

I think pitching is has more depth. So many more mediocore hitters in baseball now a days some pitchers will get you only 10-14 wins but solid stats elsewhere. Same cant be said for hitters. Lost art in my opinion.
