Excellent point biffy. When I finally get ahold of this game, I will be chanting "We goin to Sizzla, We goin to Sizzla" everytime I light someone up with the flamethrower.

What guns are you guys using? I cant seem to find a set up I am confrtable with. I like the MP40 on the smaller close combat maps, but havent really found anything that is similar to like an M16 or MP4 from COD4 that i can use for a mid radnge type map.
It also looks like I am going to have to add stopping power in order to have a chance verse the juggernaut girls
i know they have the bolt action rifles that are sniperish. So i suppose my question is are there any assault type guns that arent just single shot, meaning i can get more than one bullet when i push R1

Feeling the same exact way AJ.
I know its not the gun that is holding me down as I suck big time at this game, but when it comes to gun selection on the maps I have no idea.
I was liking the one with the little disc on top, but it slows you down.
I used the M16 NON STOP in COD4 due to its great mid range, long range capabilities.
Still cant find a groove yet with this one but its super early. I just hope that a scope comes out that SOMEWHAT resembles the red dot or I will never improve.

if you get a certain # of kills with a certain gun, you do get a black dot type scope so it is there.

I just want to know how, when I'm playing online the enemy always shoots me before I even notice where they are at. Those dogs are irritating, I like shooting them just as much as they like going for my juggler.

Is that a new perk in this game? Instead of smoke grenades you get this guy distracting everyone while you move into position. Awesome.

It does seem the spawn points are a little better so far on this game. Its tougher to pin teams down at a spawn point, which is a good thing.
Maybe I just havent played enough yet to know one way or the other, it just feels like when you have the other team cornered , once you kill them all , they spawn somewhere completely different.
This is a good thing

AJ, I find myself using the UFO gun alot and the Rifles SVT and the 43 ( both are semi auto). Try the bar and the UFO gun, think those are winners.

When you get 3 kills in a row you get a radar that shows where everyone is on the map...unless you have that radar jammer perk on. Thats probably how their getting to you.

I have to say, this one is much more fast paced compared to COD 4, as you are getting hit from all directions. And since some of the guns are prehistoric, you have to practice with all of them to find your niche. I use the Type 100 with stopping power, deep impact, but it does not have the reach.....only close quarters. But man, that gun is sweet. The Springfield with the scope is starting to be a nice sniper rifle with stopping power and deep impact, but if you slightly miss, it takes a long time to reload. I tried the other two bolt action rifles, and they suck in my opinion. The DP-28 is a nice Russian machine gun, but takes a long time to reload if you do not have the fast reload perk. All in all, this game is sweet. I love the wide open maps, and the Saving Private Ryan sniper towers.

You bring up one reason I'm starting to like this better then cod4, I dont think any of the weapons right now are great, they all have a couple of things good but a couple of real drawbacks. There isnt a M16 or RPD or anything right off the bat to really roll with. I'm starting to like the older weapons but they defintily take some getting used to.
