Washington goes 4-3 on the sim, took 2 of 3 from pittsburgh and split with NorCal. Finally able to see my team, over website, thanks trendon.

Faubert looks like he worked real hard in the offseason to be ready for 2018.

Clearly, he was motivated by the hopes of cracking AJ's top 100 SPs in the OOTP.



/ slow day, gotta spice it up

The crazy thing about my 3-10 start is, I'm getting decent starting pitching.

4.12 ERA overall and 1.34 WHIP from my SPs. For me, that's phenomenal lol.


Relievers, 9.45 ERA, 2.06 WHIP. I've given up 26 runs in the 8th inning or later...in 13 games.


Hitting has been real bad. I didn't expect it to be very good, but we're off to a slow start at the plate.


Losing my best hitter this sim for 5-6 weeks sure doesn't help.

SoCal is simply trying to weather the storm right now. Another week, another star player out for 3 weeks. Big FA acquisition Barry Jacobs joins the Commandos top 2 hitters, Kyle Edgar and Pedro Cisneros on the DL. As of today, that's $36m in payroll sitting in the trainer's room.

As for the week, the Commandos finished 3-3, but lost another game in the standings to the PL South leading Bombers. SoCal pulled off the 2-0 sweep in the short series over the Steel City Bulldogs. A nice early season success, as the 2 teams are tied behind NorCal at this early stage. Unfortunately, game 1 was costly for both, as it included 4 injuries (inc. Jacobs). The Commandos then gave Philly a nice warm welcome, by allowing them to rip 3 of the 4 games at the Battlefield. The 1st game was a beat down from the start, as Philly jump on Killer Kamida for 7 runs in the 1st. Kamida didn't even make it to the 2nd inning. The rest of the series was a bit more competitive, with Philly putting up a 3 spot in the 5th to secure the 3-1 win in game #2; grabbing a 6-3 win the 3rd game; then SoCal finally recovering for a 5-3 victory in the 4th game, that was lead by a 4 run 8th inning.

The 13 game home stand wraps up this week with 3 more against rival and division leader NorCal. Then, SoCal heads out on a 12 game road trip, starting with 3 against Albany. Can the team continue to tread water with 3 injured stars and back to backs against NorCal and Albany? This is going to be a rough week.

How the hell do we get swept by god damn Toronto. That kills me. Then we follow it up by winning 3 of 4 from Detroit thanks to solid starting pitching (minus one game).

4-3 sim. 2 blown saves from being a 6-1 sim. Season record stands at 9-4

Finally after a 13 game road trip to start the season, the Hawks have their home opener tonight

3 with Philly, 3 with Toronto

Fish lose 3 of 4 to hapless Texas on the road???

Offense cooled substantially since the first sim. Bullpen has been lights but revamped rotation has been underachieving thus far.

Its not hard to take 3 of 4 from me. N i still had a 4-3 sim
