Going to upgrade my Router. it is about 3 years old and te Linksys person said. Regardless of what the truth is I want a new one anyway. I might get a wireless booster to place in living room to help boost the signal and get a little more life out of the router. Just cant see how 40 feet from router my signal is so weak.
Yeah I know hardwire it. Not in mood to run 50 ft of cable through house again and have wife bitch at me.

Either way I am close to router and am game to try some P2P games to see how it acts.

Will be avail tonight some if anyone wants to try some games

As I told you on AIM, if you are 40 feet away and your signal is that bad, either your router has a bad antenna or you have something in the house/room causing interference.
But a new router will be a chance to see if that is the cause.
And if the new router gives you the same trouble, you can always return it to where you bought it.

Do not mount your router to your microwave.

seriously. How can you tell if the antenna is bad in a router? if you even can?

I did however purchase a somewhat cheap router extender. Placed it in the kitchen dining room and as of this morning I am receiving 100% reception for interenet. Played a game online in franchise with no issues at all. Signal was a consistant 100% at 4.5 DL with roughly 1 mb Upload.
Not best option but will work until i get the router I am wanting for like $200
Will be looking again tonight for a P2P game to really see.

Only 1 MB up ? That could be a huge issue alone.

To help edumacate you guys on speeds for online gaming....

No issue with 1 Mbps up.

The optimal speeds for gaming online, you need 1.5 Mbps down and
That is megabits (Mb) not megabytes (MB).
Your internet speeds are measured in megabits.

The ping is actually more important.
Ideally, the closer to 0 you have for ping the better. Ping is the time it takes to get a response back from the server.
Around 100ms is the max you want for a ping.

Optimum upload speeds would be about .35 Mbps, which is about 33% of 1.5, so don't worry about upload speeds.

And for reference, my internet speeds are like 18 down and 1 up and I have never had a connection issue playing online games.

I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo close to a perfect game :(

Ryu was flat nasty vs the Twins, as he throws a complete game one hitter in a 2-1 victory. He was perfect for six and a third, before missing badly with a curveball that hung on the inside of the plate and was pulled down the line for a solo homer inside the foul pole. He only allowed one more baserunner the rest of the game, as the leadoff man put down a bunt with two outs in the 9th and barely reached on a fielding error by 3B Juan Uribe.

Ryu threw only 93 pitches, struck out 8, and gave up just the one hit. The Dodgers got a pair of solo homers from Ethier and Ramirez, as all three runs came on solo shots.

Thought it would have resolved itself by now but LA/SF need a game reset on their first game. Still showing as "In Progress"

Also I'm finding that another league I'm in that is Fast Play has a lot less Blue Screen errors than presentation/broadcast mode. Any thoughts or discussions to switch?

This. The broadcast/presentation is causing a ton of issues.

Tried playing a game against Cleveland but got the boot in the 6th inning.

Different type of disconnect though. No blue screen but instead "You've been discconnected from PlayerConnect" which made it appear I had been logged completely out of PSN.

None the less, the game has been "In Progress" since :x
