yea I couldnt recall what # he was, I think 8 or 9 right? Stanford's FB is their impact which is unusual, thought maybe they put him there.

meant to tell you were late with your dues this year. I thought Nole had told you about that.

TheRealDray wrote: NDL VIP membership, pay $150 each year for dues and it goes into the GA/FL NDL clique bank(this mostly goes to covering gas for trips from Tampa to Tallahassee and driving from Brunswick, GA and circling the perimeter of Jacksonville).

Includes getting game early, along with the exclusive GA/FL crew, for example as seen here...

The dues also allow one to post in same threads w/ long time VIP members Nolie, CNasty, Shel, myself and every once in a great while the all exclusive Plops-which is quite the Honus Wagner of postings, that is typically included when full payment is received.

Pics of seeing Jeff Daddy's chicks are also included, due to him being an honorary member of the GA/FL NDL.

So go ahead and sign up and get a head start for NCAA '11, membership has it's privileges!

OKay, so EA is supposed to release a roster patch in the locker, but this will only include numbers and details right? What about a names roster this year? Is there word on anyone doing a roster with names?

You can change the view of the defense (when your on defense) from the regular view, or you can change it to the other side. Meaning, looking at the offense from the defensive side. It is a little difficult to execute a tackle from that view...........just push the left stick in (no right, left, up or down) when your on defense. The view changes. On offense, it just moves up a little or down again.........left stick in. (no right, left, up or down).

hart explained it in the post below yours perfectly.

Basically, the day the game comes out, you will HAVE to do an update, download the update, and it will update these god awful rosters we have with the correct rosters. At least that's what EA is telling us, lol.
false. they will have a ea locker file u download. the patch wont be here for a few weeks . probably fucking up team drafting as some will change

Wait wait wait.

That freaking blows.

Well, hopefully that won't push back the start of our 1st season then, that would SUCK!!!

Overall the game seems alot more smooth online. I like the added strategy of the gameplan and I believe the new commit feature makes alot more sense then just guessing and trying to time the snap like previous versions.

The passing game is difficult with the lesser quarterbacks. I just played a game using WVU and while Jarret was a beast on the ground many of his passes he overthrew open receivers or even worse the wrs would catch and drop. This happened four times counted by EA in the stats. While it is frustrating it is an element of the game that really exists so it adds a good touch of realism.

I like the running game. I was able to run inside, outside and even pulled off some qb options which was nice.

I think there is a good balance to the game overall. Offensively play to your strengths but being one dimensional vs good teams or good user players will be very tough at times especially with lower grade teams or those who run well or vice versa.

I think we could be in for a very fun season with a wide variety of wild highlights from the NCCAA 2010 season.

Im ready! game on!~
:D

Defensively I enjoyed the control of the player. Even though I was not able to strafe pre snap it is not much of an issue at all. I've already snagged some user picks which for me in the past has been inconsistent so to already make user plays is encouraging.

There were still some big holes in the zones at times but that is to be expected.

I was a bit disappointed the player lock view isn't online. I really like that view for certain down and distances.

I think there will be some teams that can actually make stops and force a punt as opposed to getting a turnover as the only way to make defensive stops as was the case in previous versions.

This has the potentinal to be the best NCAA since 07 (which is very high praise from me ).

Funny you say that. I used WVU against MGR and Jarret went 6 for 20 passing and on most of those incompletions, his passes were 3 or 4 yards off the mark.

But that's pretty realistic for some QBs, I like it.

I agree.

I'm loving everything about this game, even though i've been sucking at passing on Heisman. But I'm also running the ball like a beast, which would be good if I actually ran the ball in league games, lol.

I have not heard a lot of negative things from you all which really has me pumped. It would be cool if you guys would compare it to last year since we all don't have great memories like Big Mike.

So is this games leaps and bounds better than last years?

In terms of how the game looks, how smooth it is, and in general the gameplay, YES it is leaps and bounds better as of now.

From someone that didnt enjoy last years game at all and moved on to other games faster than I ever have in NCAA history, YES way better.

Game is a lot more polished and a great fun factor to it. I believe this is the game that we were expecting when we switched over to the PS3 for NCAA.

It is easily the most complete game on the PS3 thats for sure and like Mike said, pushing some PS2 versions as one of the tops.

will a mediocre player (football knowledge wise) enjoy this game more than others.

Graphics look crisper and the new animations make this game the best of the PS3 version so far in my opinion. Only thing I have noticed that is kind of weird, or may be until the rosters are redone or names are uploaded, is most of the mediocre teams have the defensive end players at 60-69 range of overall ratings...........meaning a lot of 60 rating players overall on the defensive line. A lot of low to mid 60 rated guys on the game.
