OOTP 18 fixes this perfectly. From what I can tell there are 3 types of injuries. Minor, moderate, and severe. Minor injuries (calf strain, sore knees etc...) are things guys can play through and 95% of them will be fine after. Moderate injuries (broken finger on non-throwing hand, broken nose, etc...) can be played through but have a greater risk of turning into a severe injury. Severe injuries (Tommy John surgery, torn ligaments etc...) obviously are things that are impossible to play through.
I had an offline game where a player had a 5 month moderate injury to his shoulder. Played through it the whole year and he was fine. His numbers were down obviously but he never made a DL trip.
This isn't an endorsement to move to '18. I'm just saying when we move to '19 this injury system (which I love) should still be a feature.
how much is 18? if moving solves our issues... I mean, why not? we are all adults with real jobs!

Just to keep track of all pending items:
- Move to '18
- Sim 7 days per week
- Find a replacement for Dak
Anything I missed?

I feel like we discussed another issue that '18 fixed a while back too, but it's been a while and I don't remember. I think it was Ted I was talking to about it... Ted, happen to remember?

Rollover is just a commish break thing. Reign, niddler and trendon used it as something to give them a couple days to a few weeks of break from ootp. Corey is too much of a junkie though and shortened it to just a few hours.
theres some behind the scenes things he does during it too.
rollovers are super short if he wins, and super long if he suffers a particularly devastating loss in the playoffs. Expect a week rollover if he loses to shel after being up 3-1.

We would go to '18 because '17 would definitely be broken if this happened.

I was one of the 2 and I am assuming Ted was the other (poll creator).
I was a not vote due to insufficient information on the comparison to real life.
No graphs = no vote

part of me is like, move to 18 b/c corey has def. figured out 17 and it would cause him to make mistakes maybe. on the other hand, 18 may have removed playoff randomness creating an 10+ season string of corey WS rings...
But if banking on sheltown winning to make anything happen... not getting my hopes up...
