You need to start cruise control in July next year instead of August
Start cruise control in April usually

Miami will lose the number one seed to either Houston or Bama. Not bad.

We might as well quit now and restart the whole league. No chance!

It's pretty cyclical though, The NL has always had the 2 stacked teams with Cincy/Lolcats and now Cincy/LE.

But just a couple of seasons ago, The last NL wildcard was worse than the AL's by a wide margin, if I recall. No need for yet another realignment :)

ohh nooooo whatever will Miami do!?!? When Bama/Houston finish with better records and 1/4 in the standings, they will face each other in the 2nd round (if #4 wins) and I'll get the winner of 3-6. Oh noooo!!!

Your team isn't built for the long term. Your team will actually help my cyclical argument in about 3-4 seasons. :)

Define long term?

I'm not losing anyone major for at least 5 seasons or so. Only possibly Sandoval in 3 seasons.

We aren't a flash in the pan! Unless we don't win it by year 3 I'm blowing this bitch up.

I'm watching Boston closely. He has enormous debt... but if he plays his cards right, he can flip that into a perennial power.

Pleasant surprise with Burt Jackson leading the NL in RBIs. Didnt see that coming in one of the quieter moves we made this offseason.

And regards to the AL/NL success and all that good stuff heading into the postseason running months that we commonly share that will change the entire face of the playoffs...INJURIES!

This game is brutal in that regard.

6 teams within 1 game of the final wildcard spot in the AL.

Parity!

He was traded 7 times so far! For a guy that is a former #1 prospect in the league. I originally traded him and got Roger Peterson who helped win our championship. Took him awhile to develop.

He doesnt perform up to his ratings IMO but he is one of the more consistent guys I have ever looked at. This year is an anomaly in regards to RBI production but even his WAR is on pace to be the same of seasons past.

Last 5 seasons:
.271 14HR 70RBI 3.8WAR
.259 14HR 74RBI 3.3WAR
.297 19HR 74RBI 3.5WAR
.275 26HR 76RBI 3.3WAR
.284 19HR 74RBI 3.6WAR
.280(this season) 17HR 97RBI so far 2.9WAR

The debt will get out of control, but who cares if he can win 1 or more.

I guess my main point is, Cincy has sustained it, LE is built to sustain it. But Boston definitely has a shelf life that will expire. The dominos will start falling after 2034 when Vandal becomes a free agent or is traded.

Also the overall quality of teams top to bottom plays a big role.

The AL has one team below . 400
The NL has 5 teams below .400
Both leagues have 8 teams .500 or above
AL has two teams @.490 close to.500-the NL has none

The AL is far more balanced than the NL
