I did? That's funny, I remember saying, "his reaction made me want to slap him". Never once said a word about fighting him, kicking his ass, etc.

Don't they teach reading comprehension in Canadian schools?
no, not really, they dont teach much up here, just how to make syrup and play hockey. in fact, im actually impressed i spell words correctly and have the ability to form coherent sentences.

go slap him tough guy, see what happens.

I am excited for today's game but seeing how the dutch played against Brazil, I think that if Uruguay are going to pull the upset, they are going to have to score... a lot. Diego Forlan will basically have to go nuts. Now a 3-2 game isn't out of the question, but it hasn't happend in the tourny yet, so I doubt it will happen here.

I find it so hard to root for Holland....

1) two of the dirtiest players in the world in De Jong/Van Bommel

2) Robben's the biggest diver in the world

3) Van Persie not only looks like a total whiny d-bag, he IS one.

Worst part was, I was placing a bet for Netherlands to win -120 and for a Neth/Neth Half/Full time at +240, and they suspended betting about 10 seconds before he shot it...fuck me.

I was trying to find a way for hte last 3 days to bet Holland (I have them and Germany +475 each from the round of 8 long term bets) but I was trying to find a way to bet it for the game... Right before kickoff I found Neth -.5 1st half +105... looking good right about now

Yeah, best I could get was -165. I knew if the match went about 20 min w/o a goal, that the lines would start shifting to draws and I'd get better value.

Just makes me so fucking pissed; cuz NOW it's -500 Holland win.

That said, I DID get Holland 1-0 at +330 and Holland 2-0 at +450 after Holland scored. Might lay a bit on 3-0 at +600

Now I know why it locked....mother fuckers.....

The clock on Bodog's live betting is about 15 seconds ahead of what we see on TV. As I was placing the bet, Holland had just scored.

On a pure fucking whim, I threw $5 on a halftime draw, Forlan just kept getting into good spaces.....

.....oh yeah, it was +900 :D

Also at the same time, threw $10 on halftime draw/full time Holland, at +1600. Kinda wishing I'd done more now, but it was just a "you never know" throwaway bet. Love it :D

That was also an awesome goal, although the GK badly missjudged it.

What club team does Forlan play on, he is making himself a ton of money this tournament.

He plays for Atletico Madrid. He played for Manchester United before that, but didn't get much playing time. He was already a top star before this tournament, just many outside of Spain didn't know much about him. He was already in top form coming out of the Europa League, scored two goals in the final against Fulham (Dempsey's team).

plus hes 29, for a striker thats nearing the end, he wont be making much more because of this tourney.
