Awesome random fact in the canes game.
Miami is the Only school to have someone score a TD in the NFL in every single week of the season since 2002.
132 weeks in a row.

Yea but then the new class that underachieved under Shannon and become pro bowlers will come in and keep the streak going.

they are making Sam Shields out to be a future hall of famer... no joke he was one of the worst cornerbacks i've ever seen in college

Perfect example. He sucked at wide receiver, moved him to special teams. We had injuries in the secondary and they moved him to corner and he was atrocious.
Now he is playing great ball in the NFL for a super bowl contending team.

He is definitely the poster child for Shannon's underachieving.
Shannon's excuse for it in the Lebby interview a couple of weeks ago was epically funny.

It almost felt like he was taking a shot at Shields, IMO.
Basically he said Shields wasn't any good, just not in so many words. Sorta tried to justify his play by saying that all 32 NFL passed on him multiple times in the draft, blah blah blah. It felt like he was saying the NFL agreed with him that Shields wasn't very good since he wasn't drafted very early.
Can't wait to hear these songs, lol. I'm about to fire up the Friday show on the podcast right now.

they played a few on the friday show.
they do it as a way to entertain the audience when the Dolphins suck. it started when they were 1-15 and he wants to bring it back after the Thursday game.
i think he plays the little mermaid one which is pretty good. the fake pavorati is classic and there are some others that are countless others that are good listens.

The calls are horrible across the NFL, too. Ryan Clark just got flagged; it was completely ridiculous. But no penalties on the five linemen for hits to the head ... each play. Those hits to the head don't jar the skull at all, nope. Good work, Posturing NFL! Sell some Hardest Hitters DVD's, though.

Which is ironic seeing as hits can be cumulative, putting lineman at a high risk

Exactly. However, the phone calls and outrage is NOT cumulative with the repeated hits to the head that the linemen take, so nothing to see here (or there!)
