2 big injuries this sim are gonna make it tough for me to make that playoff push.

Can I start pleading now that we do the playoffs on Sunday 2/15?
Too much going on the 13th and 14th as I fly back to Orlando to wrap up the relocation and move the family.
Just throwing it out there.

I believe that day works out best for me too.
Sunday evening.

I don't think anyone in the AL REALLY wants to win the wild card spots. Now starts the spiral for Vancouver. With Alabama, Omaha, Houston, Cincy, Sheltown, Port Orange all on the schedule this month.

Still probably doubtful for Cookeville, but they now find themselves 8 games out from a wildcard after the Scott Walker trade (Big
THANKS nick). With 27 games to go and 8 of those against current wildcard holder Albany, well.... We can dream right? For now I'll ignore the fact that 6 of the games are against Cincy and 3 or 4 against Omaha
We also get two of our bigger bats back from injury after this last sim which should also help significantly.

From the joking standpoint... it's one thing to joke and wait towards the end, it's another when it drags out the process unnecessarily. I could be wrong, but I believe the post has been up for over a week now?
I obviously admit I'm usually one of the last to vote, but I'm not sure if been the last person to do it that we're waiting on multiple times. I'll also admit sometimes, a lot of the time I just flat out forget. If this post isn't bumped while I'm home, i never think of it for 2-3 nights in a row, I admit that's on me, no doubt.
But there's also nights where I think about it and could do it in 10 minutes, but I choose not to cause I'd rather spend more time to make informed decisions, so there's that side of it as well

I can relate to that and your previous post. I've never seen you actually go into much detail on that. I'm not saint when it comes to it. I admit it. But it's also because I want to take whatever amount of time I need to look over everyone and compare. I think this time around took me about 15min of looking at it... then I thought about it for a day or so... then went back and looked and put my ballot together, which took another 10-15min. It's definitely fair if you're putting in the effort.

I always thought Shel and Jsense had a contest whoever votes last wins.
Trendon is the one I am worried about. Makes multiple posts about missing HOF and hasn't voted yet.

Another thing I don't do that I should, I don't really keep track of who I voted for in previous years. Then by the next season, I don't remember who I voted for and/or their acomplishments so i'm starting from scratch.
That may be something I can do this go round, creating a spreadsheet and keeping track of guys on the ballot, so in the ensuing seasons, it may be easier and quicker to actually get it done in 15-20 minutes while still making informed decisions. See that, the benefits of talking this out!!!!

I agree shel that it is awesome of you to put effort into it.
I just see you posting all the time and never realized the pics won't show, so you can't see the necessary information.
I will send you a reminder text tonight. I just put a reminder in my phone.
And I am with you on not keeping track of who I voted for last season.
I should.

I didn't want to call him by name, but I think your post is a good example of the ongoing joke we have. It can sometimes make it look like I'm always the only guy holding it up or not caring, but Jsence gets a free pass. Not mad at all, like I said, I help exaggerate and keep that joke going, so i'm partially to blame as well.

I'm not saying, but just saying, I think you've posted multiple times to where I've had to respond to regarding the blocked pics at work.

By all means, still text me, but funny you mention that. I forget and never use a function on my texting app I have where I can schedule a text to myself, and I've already set one to send myself as well.

That's why I put mine in a spoiler this year. I couldn't find my previous ballots and with the pool being so large, I wanted to try for some consistency. Next season I'll be able to reference this season... and so on.

Someone needs to standup and start hyping the fact that we have one of the most dominant pitchers ever, still getting the job done at age 36! William "Fox" Thomas, Windstorm Closer, is a career record holder in 6 stats! If he comes back next season (he's got 1yr on his contract left), it's possible that he finishes with over 500 saves! I'm rooting for you Thomas!
